As a former World Champion and veteran World Cup cross-country ski racer, Kershaw provides an unfiltered look at elite level cross-country ski racing. Tune in after every World Cup weekend.
World Cup withdrawal? William Poromaa is just what the doctor ordered.
It's been a minute. We, and the World Cup circuit, took a break from racing, and podcasting, last weekend, but things are about to heat up again in Lahti, Finland, and we thought now was the perfect time to bring you an interview Nat did in Canmore with up and coming Swedish talent William Poromaa.
Nat and Devon will be back with a recap after the races in Lahti this weekend. Send us your questions, comments and feedback at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. Catch you soon.
Minneapolis magic: A live-taped recap with Devon, Muzzy, Benny and an extra special guest
What a weekend. If you weren't able to make it to Minneapolis, we had the good fortune of taping this episode of the podcast in front of a live audience at a local brewery, and we think it brings through a little of the amazing atmosphere. British skier Andrew Musgrave joined us in-person, Ben Ogden zoomed in from mono jail and a very special guest whose name ends with us Schumacher joined us mid-pod.
The audio quality from this episode is.....mixed, but it seems to be workable. Thanks for sticking with us all season — we'll be back with some bonus episodes in the next week before the World Cup resumes. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com.
Quick hit: Hear from World Cup winner Gus Schumacher
American skier Gus Schumacher won a World Cup distance race in Minneapolis today — the first time a U.S. man has done this in decades. We'll have more from Schumacher later, but here are a few quick words from him at the finish line. Stay tuned.
Quick hit: Hear from Minneapolis' lead organizer as racing nears
We caught up quickly with Claire Wilson, lead organizer of the Minneapolis World Cup and head of the Loppet Foundation, to get a sense of what's going on in the lead-up to the racing.
We'll have more podcasts this weekend. We also set a time for our live show: Come hear us and join in at Utepils Brewing, 225 Thomas Ave N #700 in Minneapolis. It's at 4 p.m. Sunday, after the last race of the day. Spread the word and see you there.
Canmore is a wrap. On to Minneapolis for the Jessie Diggins show.
We're back, with our fourth? Fifth? episode in the past week. It's been a whirlwind, but we're still here to wrap up the last day of World Cup racing in Canmore. Amazingly, Nat is posting this podcast from a moving airplane between Calgary and Toronto, with Victoria Carl and Katharina Hennig sitting a few rows up.
We'll be back with more action from Minneapolis, including a show with a live audience late Sunday afternoon at Utepils Brewing near the World Cup venue, after the last race of the day is over. You're invited. We'll have more details in the next day or two. Questions? Comments? Hate mail? Email firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. See you soon.
A tale of two races in Canmore distance classic
We're grinding on with our third episode in four days. Hope you're still listening. If you don't get the hat reference, read our coverage.
We'll be back with another episode after the last race in Canmore. To keep you from podcast withdrawal later in the week, we'll roll out some interviews we did with a couple of international athletes here. Then we'll be back again from Minneapolis this weekend.
Speaking of Minneapolis, if you'll be there in person, we're hosting a live show where we'll be taping Sunday's episode in front of an audience — though we'll need all 12 listeners to show up for it to really be an actual audience. More details soon — the event is at Utepils Brewery near the venue, with an exact time to be determined, but it will be after the last race of the day.
Questions? Comments? Email us: firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. Thanks so much for listening.

#1 English language xc ski podcast
Title says it all. Devon has the experience of perspective of a World Cup athlete. Nat brings some journalistic chops
Fun, and informative
I can’t get enough of this show. It’s a great option, if you want to keep tabs on World Cup cross-country skiing, get some insight to the sport, as well a good dose of rant and banter to keep things lively.
