This is one of the few podcasts (and relatively few pastors with any kind of social media outlet, for that matter, in relation to the general throng of attention-seekers) that think, believe, teach, and speak vulnerably, thoughtfully, candidly, transparently, and humbly about the fact that the gospel is GRITTY. It isn’t there to build megachurches or validate celebrity pastors with cool shoes and big egos. It’s for -everyone-. It’s hope for the hopeless, justice for the oppressed, peace for the lonely, the marginalized, the hurting, and the poor, and it’s life for everyone who is able or willing to consider that being safe, secure, comfortable, and wealthy does -not- mean that God’s “blessing” is upon us. Noah asks hard questions and approaches things thoughtfully and humbly, and I ask and encourage you to listen to this podcast with palms open and not in fists, ready to grip or defend what you came in with.
