March is colon cancer awareness month so in today's episode, I discuss oncologic treatment options for colorectal cancer with Dr. Hardeep Phull. Dr. Phull is Medical Director of Oncology at Palomar Health and Clinical Instructor at the University of California San Diego. He gives a bird's-eye perspective on the steps from colon cancer diagnosis to potential therapy as well as discusses chemotherapy and radiation therapy. 

The doctor becomes the patient in this episode of the Gut Doctor podcast when Dr. Parikh's partner, Dr. John Wysocki- a fellow gastroenterologist- comes to the endoscopy center for his first screening colonoscopy.
