I started doing YouTube videos in August 2017 about being an INFJ, and how it took me 30-odd years of journaling, self-reflection, and self-actualization, to get to this level of understanding and love with myself. I'm an INFJ and I'm here to show you through my podcast that you are not alone, you are not crazy, you are not autistic, or a sociopath. You are just misunderstood, and the more you realize that there are others like you out there, the less alone and confused you are going to feel. You are here to fulfill a great purpose. The purpose of the INFJ is diverse, beautiful, and unicorn-like, just like you.
Let me help you, through this podcast, and my YouTube channel, to help you gain a better understanding of yourself, and to become the best version of yourself as much as possible. I'm Boom Shikha on YouTube, and there are hundreds of INFJ videos on there, that are waiting for your conscious understanding. Much love! See you on the other side, lovely INFJs.

INFJs Can Use This One Simple Tool To Prevent Social Battery Drain

INFJs Can Use This One Simple Tool To Prevent Social Battery Drain

INFJs need to learn that social battery drain is inevitable for them. Our social batteries are just so minuscule. So we need tools to deal with it, rather than bemoaning it.

INFJs Swing From Deep Empathy To Extreme Apathy All the Time

INFJs Swing From Deep Empathy To Extreme Apathy All the Time

INFJs want to care about humanity and believe in their goodness. But then something happens that ruins and dashes our hope to the ground. And then we build up that hope again. Thus, the cycle continues.

INFJs - You Are on the Right Path and You Have Nothing To Worry About

INFJs - You Are on the Right Path and You Have Nothing To Worry About

I used to worry all the time (and sometimes still do) that I was not on the right path. But as an older INFJ, I want to tell everyone younger than me, that you ARE on the right path. You will be surprised when you are older, how much you are on the right path. Really! Truly!

Help, Help Everywhere, but INFJs Don’t See Any of It

Help, Help Everywhere, but INFJs Don’t See Any of It

One of the worst things INFJs do to themselves is believe they are all alone without any incoming help. It is the worst way we sabotage ourselves. We need to look up and see that people are willing to help, even if we aren't willing to accept it.

5 Reasons INFJs Wouldn’t Be Successful in an Apocalypse

5 Reasons INFJs Wouldn’t Be Successful in an Apocalypse

As I said in the last episode, there are many reasons INFJs would be successful in an apocalypse, but it could all be undone in a moment because of our poor social skills and low social battery. What do you think? Why wouldn't you be successful in an apocalyptic situation?

5 Reasons INFJs Would Survive an Apocalypse

5 Reasons INFJs Would Survive an Apocalypse

So I have been thinking about whether I would survive a doomsday scenario if it happened. In some ways, I wouldn't (more on that in the next episode). But in some ways, I would be a natural at it, considering I'm an INFJ.

Forgetting to Breathe

TLDR: I have listened to Boom for the past year and found a lot of worthwhile nuggets to ponder, validation, and specific ways to challenge myself as an INFJ.

I'm pretty sure I have never felt more aligned with her words as I did with the episode on forgetting to breathe - and the way we live in our heads to the point of ignoring our physical needs. Just listening to the episode was reminding me to breathe ... it felt like a sort of meditation. I'm going to save this episode to listen to over and over again, because the struggle is real... and I need a 'friend' like Boom to talk me through these reminders until it becomes a new habit.

This is a huge issue for me... so thanks, Boom for talking about it. So many topics you cover are on point with my experience, whether that is from being INFJ or from being highly sensitive. Either way... please continue your good work!

By me some Time?

Excellent points on Time...it is the one thing that we, as humans, in this life, and on this planet can not afford to lose. Time is also the only, “commodity” equal to all...from the day we are born, to the day we pass on. So, if you’re having fun, or can’t wait to finish work; be attentive to it, be kind & take care of “it” because as the saying goes, “time flies!”

Understanding INFJ's

As one who knows and cares about INFJ's, I have learned a lot with the help of Boom and greatly appreciate her depth of understanding and her natural ability to teach. She is unique and I find her very articulate and deep. It is so helpful for those of us who are not INFJ's to have insight into what makes them tick. In the process I have also learned a lot about myself.
