    We live in a culture that rewards productivity. We push ourselves to produce results at our jobs, at the gym, with our income, our weight, we read and podcast topics on self-improvement. We use our bodies and our time to the point of exhaustion.

    So, where does rest fit into productivity? Resting allows our desires and intentions to manifest, without the effort and control. At rest, we allow our bodies to restore and to heal, our natural breathing and sleep cycles to return, and we accept ourselves without needing to 'improve'. Rest is its own reward.

Excellent Guided Meditations

This is a really first-rate podcast, very thoughtful and professionally produced I use their guided meditations pretty much every day. I have been for several years now. I wish all the old episodes were still here, but apparently the old episodes have migrated to Patreon. Thank you for this helpful podcast.

Thank you for these wonderful podcasts. I have often wanted to just give up itunes as there is so much media overload but then I remember that I have your wonderful library of mediations! I live in a small Fam where I grow medicinal herbs and have my two horses and two dogs. Remote and peaceful after being a firefighter for many years. My animals enjoy meditating with me too and even my horse joins in my yoga practice and chi gong sometimes thanks to Rodney Yee and the Garipoli’s……. Keep it up please the world needs more of this every day.
