Medical Advice that keeps you tied to treatment

Some of the direction and advice given on this podcast is misleading for those that are looking for complete healing and healthy menstruation. If you want to truly heal your body and get into a state of wellness, extreme dieting and restrictive eating will NOT get you there. Some supplements, lifestyle, and diet tips shared in various episodes will alleviate symptoms. That’s great in the short term, but all “progress” will be lost as soon as you start getting back into a sustainable habits. One guest share that eating 500 calories a couple days a week is a healthy practice that makes her feel good. That low of a calorie intake is NOT sufficient for the modern women to cope with daily stressors, let alone to support healthy muscle, tissue, and bone structure. I would venture to say that advice like that is dangerous. Listen with caution and use your intuitive knowledge when you hear health advice from anyone, no matter their experience or title.
