    Jimbo, Duncan Alexander, Art De Roché and more bring you the final Totally Football Show before Christmas. Man United and Newcastle contest the only Boxing Day fixture with the Red Devils having to do without the injured Bruno Fernandes. The headline fixture of the weekend sees Aston Villa aiming for an 11th win in a row as they travel to Chelsea. Jacob Tanswell tells us about a seven day spell that could really cement Villa’s status as title-challengers. Arsenal will look to take more points against Brighton than they did last season while Man City travel to the City Ground, where it all began for the Haalands in English football. Elsewhere, there are fixtures between Sunderland & Leeds and Burnley & Everton with greater historical significance than you might realise.     Jimbo’s got helpers James Horncastle, Seb Stafford-Bloor & Pol Ballús alongside him for some pre-Christmas cheer of a European variety. We begin in La Liga, where it’s as you were at the top of the table with Barca navigating the tricky trip to Villarreal to come away with all three points to keep their advantage at the top of the table. Real’s win over Sevilla helps ease the pressure on Xabi Alonso - but is Vini Jr’s future in more serious doubt?  The shock scoreline across the continent was perhaps recorded in Florence, where having gone 210 days without a Serie A win - Fiorentina only went and put five past Udinese! Plus, Lois Openda ended his Juve goalscoring drought in their win over Roma to make things even tighter at the top.  We touch base with events in France, Portugal, Turkey and the Netherlands - including the mounting troubles for Robin van Persie, Coupe de France storylines and lone Portuguese superfans!  And in Germany -  Bayern Munich continued their remarkable form with a 4-0 thrashing of Heidenheim - featuring Harry Kane’s 100th goal involvement in record quick time.     Jimbo, Daniel Storey, Adrian Clarke and Mark Carey chew through the last Premier League weekend before Christmas. Morgan Rogers produces two moments of magic as Aston Villa beat Man United 2-1. Unai Emery's side have won 10 in a row and 7 in a row in the Premier League for the first time ever. There are victories for Man City and leaders Arsenal, who put a stop to their away slump with a 1-0 win at Everton. The match of the weekend sees Chelsea fight back from 2-0 down at St James's Park to rescue a point. And it's two red cards for Tottenham as Liverpool's revival continues in North London. A boyhood Atletico Madrid fan turned hometown hero at his local club, Torres' lightning pace and prolific goalscoring earned him a move to Anfield where he quickly won the hearts of the Liverpool faithful and forged a special bond with Steven Gerrard. A World Cup and Euros winner with Spain in arguably their greatest ever era, but injuries held him back as he he made the controversial move to Chelsea, before finishing his career back at Atletico and finally in Japan.     Jimbo’s got the Euro crew alongside him for a dive into the wild and wonderful world of football from across the continent…  We start in Italy, where the title race took yet more twists and turns as Milan and Napoli both dropped points to allow Inter to take top spot. Plus - Fiorentina’s plight deepens after their latest defeat leaves them eight points from safety in Serie A.   Over in Germany, Bayern had a scare as they were staring down the barrel of defeat to bottom of the table Mainz, before - of course - Harry Kane stepped up to convert a penalty and take a point back to Munich… and somehow still manage to extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table!  And in La Liga - Real Madrid picked up a precious three points at Alaves with Xabi Alonso’s job reportedly on the line.     Derby delight for Sunderland, misery for Spurs and City & Villa keep on winning

    Jimbo invites Daniel Storey, Reuben Pinder and Colin Millar for a Sunday night scour through the Premier League weekend. In the title race, Man City dispose admirably of Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, while Villa make it a remarkable 10 wins from 11 league matches by beating West Ham. But it's a far more nervy victory for leaders Arsenal who survive an almighty scare in stoppage time from basement boys Wolves. The first Premier League Wear-Tyne derby in a decade is decided by a Nick Woltemade own goal as Sunderland's sensational season just gets better and better. But why are Newcastle so feeble going forward? But Tottenham's campaign takes a turn for the worse as they're thrashed 3-0 by Forest at the City Ground. Was this a performance that gets managers sacked? Plus Mo Salah's off to AFCON, Dominic Calvert-Lewin's on fire and Enzo Maresca is very unhappy with someone.     Jimbo's got Jay Harris, Jack Lang and Mark Carey in tow for a round up of all of Wednesday night's Champions League action - and a look ahead to the weekend's Premier League festivities. We've got the fallout from Manchester City's 2-1 win at Real Madrid - who are now on a run of just two wins in their last eight matches in all competitions. So is Xabi Alonso's job still well and truly under threat?
