The dangers of future-tripping (Encore episode)
Cheers to the present! We will never be able to tell the future, so why spend the energy worrying about it? In this episode of Thick & Thin, my goal is to stop wasting my time trying to control the narrative, but sometimes the anticipatory anxiety and endless what-ifs, win.

Forbidden Fruit (Encore episode)
We all hate being told what to do. It's a tale as old as time. So in this episode of Thick & Thin, I try to discover why. Why is it human nature to crave what we can't have? Is it for thrills? For power? For knowledge? Or perhaps, all of the above.

Upside down
Everything can be misunderstood –– even sea anemones. In this episode of Thick & Thin, we see how a change in perspective can lead to newfound truths and discoveries; and how maybe not everything we learned from our history textbooks is true.

My solitude is found here
This has been my favorite podcast for years. I always turn to when I’m going on a long run, or a car drive, when I feel like I need a new perspective, or want to learn something new. I’m saddened to see have to let this go. Katy, you’ve done a remarkable job over these last couple of years. You found a niche that I haven’t found another podcast to fill it. You are an exceptional podcast host. I’ll continue to listen to Match Made in Manhattan, but first I need to wallow in my sadness of this chapter coming to an end.
Farewell & THANK YOU!!
With this podcast coming to an end, I’m finding myself thinking back to when it first started. I’ve been an avid listener and follower of yours for so, so long. This used to be my go-to podcast during my commute to college internship and now what I happily listen to in the early stages of my professional career. Thank you for being such an amazing story teller, both personally and historically.
Can’t wait to see where the Match Made pod goes with your redirected time and attention. You guys are such a great trio. Sending much love from Indianapolis! xx
P.S. I recently purchased your tote bag and I get so many compliments. Keep up the great work, Katy!!
