The most meaningful podcast of your time

I originally got interested in this podcast because of Michael and Michael’s comedic background but quickly found out that this was a serious podcast about important topics. Although, if something funny happened, even a big belly laugh, that would be okay. The reason for this is because with “Topics” there is only one rule: there are no rules. Which seems flip but they really mean it. They aim to cover 80% of every topic and then suggest that you, and your study group (which is two or more people), finish the topic offline. The study groups became a worldwide phenomenon and led to the, now infamous, Topicon. Blues Traveler was even once suggested to play there. They didn’t, but c’mon!
The key to listening to this podcast is to just take it easy. It’s 2020 at the time of this review and the word is a jumble. These great conversations, and there’s that word again, conversations...are truly evergreen and can help you really THINK through these trying times. I’ve been replaying these discussions since the inception, and there’s THAT word again, and will continue to do so forever. Because these topics are evergreen. God does not sit on a throne with a big white beard, FYI.
