Customer Reviews
Great HipHop review
I loved the conversation with B Jones & M Holley! Thank you so much and though im late to knowing this podcast exist, I’ve spent this last weekend catching up! As a 48yr old West coast kid, I heard LL, KRS-1, Kool G rap, Dana Dane… So I’m that old…Raised on Lyrical geniuses and y’all brought me back…Have you heard J Cole rhyme and do you think he has that 90s flow… Biggie cadence?
LOX all day…I know I said West coast, but I’m a hip hop who’s here for the lyrics, and KRS-1 will always be my #1, Jay-z, 3 stacks, Em & PAC… it’s definitely emotional and where I was when I heard them or how they paint a picture…Kiss, Cole, TI, Ludacris Big Daddy Kane…. I also think JayZ word play in American Gangster is some of his best work!
A special shout out to the discussion with Dr Dyson… wow! Keep being great, and I will keep listening and letting my people out there know this is a must listen podcast ✌🏾
Very clear dissection of events and eras
Thank you
Wonderful shows.
The 50 Years of Hip-Hop episode with Bo & Mike; was one of the best conversations on the topic I have heard in a long time—a mature and honest perspective. Keep up the exciting guests and outstanding interviews.
