It is hard to lose weight and keep it off. It is painful to beat ourselves and turn to food (or other self-destructive vices) to cope with our emotions. It is disappointing to not live up to our perfect expectations and/or to not follow through on reaching our goals.
Warrior in Progress™ with Jennifer McKee features honest and vulnerable discussions about how to make lasting mindset shifts so you can commit to yourself and transform your life. These discussions will empower, educate, and give tools to help listeners access their inner warrior so they can become a better version of themselves.
Jennifer McKee from McKee Health Transformations is a Certified Health Coach and Motivational Speaker who has lost over 50% of her body weight naturally (185 lbs). She transformed her life by making small gradual changes to mindset, nutrition, and exercise despite having a severe foot issue that limited the exercise she could do.
If you feel defeated or stuck with your weight loss, mindset, or life, this podcast is for you.

Why Motivation Does Not Last
"I was so motivated when I started but now my motivation is gone."
"I used to be so excited and committed, but now taking healthy actions for myself daily is too much of a chore."
When we begin making changes to improve our health and/or lose weight, often we are so motivated. We had to be motivated in the first place to even start making changes, right?! After time, our motivation wanes and can disappear completely.
In this episode, I discuss why motivation does not last. I also share my top 4 tips for how to continue moving forward on your journey despite lack of motivation.
How to See Success Faster
"I messed up so bad this week. I can't believe I wasted this week. As usual, I have to start over."
"I was doing so good and then I fell off the wagon. I am a failure."
"The scale isn't moving fast enough. I should be further along."
Our self-talk can make or break us. The more we buy into these negative and false statements, the more likely we are to stay stuck or self-sabotage.
In this episode, I discuss how to see success faster. If you feel like you aren't seeing progress fast enough or you feel stuck, this episode is for you!

Why Things Won't Go My Way
"No matter how hard I try, nothing ever goes my way."
"I am doing everything I can and not seeing results like Jane is."
"I give up. This is too hard."
Often, when things don't go our way, we self-sabotage and/or want to give up. We compare ourselves to others, set unrealistic expectations, judge ourselves, and struggle to accept things which are out of our control.
In this episode, I discuss the how to shift your perspective when things are not going your way so you can achieve your goals.

It is Time to Forgive Yourself
"If only I could be where I was a few years ago, then my life would be better. I am upset that I gained the weight back plus more."
"My life used to be so good. I am so angry with myself for slipping back into old habits. How did I let myself get back to this place?"
Often, we hold onto resentment against ourselves for past mistakes and we forget to forgive ourselves. Also, we may not know how to learn from our past choices, forgive ourselves and move on. The resentment we hold onto for ourselves keeps us stuck.
In this episode, I discuss the importance of forgiving yourself, why you should forgive yourself and how to start the forgiveness process.
