I was a follower of the show, until today's episode number 452, in the segment on anger and empathy.
It's when the guest, as well as the host were dealing with a very constructive subject, by prefacing certain positions or views with referencing their application to "the right". I wasn't certain I was hearing correctly. Twice in five minutes, they alluded to the issue being a position of "the right". I was not aware previously, that this podcast was a politically oriented version of a health and wellness show! Sliding in political biases, and delivering them on a platter of health and wellness themes is something I instantly found extremely disingenuous. Why does there always have to be a political slant to virtually every subject imaginable these days? Can't we ever tune into a podcast seeking true health and wellness, without being pushed and pulled to left or right? Can those of us in the middle never find constructive conversation that is not political in origin? The duplicity here is what has turned me off. And I am now unfollowing the show!
Stop trying to politicize us into a corner all the time! Speaking of frustration and anger… that will definitely bring it out in those of us in pursuit of subject matter relating to our health. I thought that's what this show was about. My huge mistake! Get your political bias off the show and let people find a place to escape from politics, please.
That would be a tonic to those of us looking for one in this world right now, wouldn't it? I feel hijacked.
