Zelensky feels 'betrayed' by Trump

Ukraine again accuses the US of failing to share intelligence

Britain's prime minister, Andy Burnham, has promised to speed up the delivery of British-made air defence missiles to Ukraine. Kyiv has expressed concern that it did not get advance warning from allies ahead of a wave of missile strikes coming from Russia. It said it also experienced restrictions on its access to the Starlink communications network. Also, a British orthopaedic surgeon currently supporting medics in Gaza tells us there isn't enough basic medical equipment,including dressings. She says people are still coming into the hospital with fresh gun shot wounds, a year after a ceasefire was agreed. The World Is Getting Meaner. Why Are We Still Playing Nice?

Is our obsession with being nice is actually part of the problem? Russian attacks leave 600,000 Ukrainians without power

Russian missile and drone strikes hit "critical" infrastructure in Kyiv and Kharkiv despite US President Donald Trump's claim on Sunday that an "energy ceasefire" was in place between Russia and Ukraine. Ukraine says it received no warning from allies and was hampered by restrictions to the Starlink communications network during another night of intense attacks. “Why Now?" Retribution and Propaganda in the Midterms

In this episode: Thing one: retribution. “We are IN the midterms,” Mary stresses when discussing federal agents executing a search on Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home in relation to an unspecified “ongoing federal criminal investigation.” “The Department of Justice is taking a very, very overt public action targeted at a sitting congressperson.” Even more retribution: Mary and Andrew say President Trump’s committee of inquiry to assess whether Federal Reserve Board member Lisa Cook committed mortgage fraud is the administration’s latest attempt to fire her. Thing two: attacks on the press. The White House media ban nears a decisive conclusion as Trump launches an anti-trust investigation into five networks.
