    E: 352 Stomach Acid 2026 Update

Got a question? Send Audrey a Text and she will answer in an episode. Today we're revisiting one of the most requested topics on this show: stomach acid. If you've been listening for a while, you know I did a deep dive on heartburn and PPIs a while back. Today is the 2026 update. What's changed, what's gotten clearer, and what I want you to know if you're still dealing with reflux, indigestion, or you're still on an acid-suppressing medication. Let's bust the myth right out of the gate again, because it's still the most common misunderstanding I hear. Heartburn does not automatically mean you're making too much acid. Most of the time, it's the opposite. And I still see this taught to patients in exam rooms, in pharmacy pamphlets, in the way these medications are marketed. So today we're going deep. Mechanisms, testing, medication nuance, and what's actually changed in my clinical thinking since I first covered this. E: 350 The 5 Root Causes Behind Nearly Every Chronic Health Problem (And Where to Start)

Got a question? Send Audrey a Text and she will answer in an episode. Today's episode is one that I've been meaning to do for a long time, and it might be one of the most important episodes I've recorded. We're talking about the five root causes behind nearly every chronic health problem I see in my practice. Here's the thing that keeps coming up over and over in my practice. I will see 15 women in a single week. Pick any random 3: One has high blood pressure. One has PCOS. One has arthritis. Three completely different diagnoses, three completely different treatment plans from their conventional providers, often three completely different specialists. And when I sit down with each of them and we start looking upstream at what is actually driving what's happening in their body, they often have the same five imbalances. Sometimes four of the same five. Sometimes all five. Different diseases. Same terrain. In this episode, we cover: fatigue, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, cholesterol, psoriasis, migraines, insulin resistance, and anxiety. E:346 What Actually Changes Outcomes (And What Doesn't)

Got a question? Send Audrey a Text and she will answer in an episode. Here is something I have observed after more than 20 years working in health and wellness. When people are not getting the results they want they almost always assume the answer is more complexity. A different protocol. A more advanced test. A newer supplement. A better biohack. And I understand that impulse completely. I lived it. When something is not working the brain wants to solve it by adding something. By finding the missing piece that must be out there somewhere more sophisticated than what you are already doing. But in most cases — not all, but most — the missing piece is not more complexity. It is more consistency with the fundamentals that were never fully in place to begin with. We are tackling that today, what is base zero, and the 5 pillars of the foundation, and how they can help. E: 345 Why Hormone Solutions Don't Hold for Some People

Got a question? Send Audrey a Text and she will answer in an episode. Today, we are going into something I see play out in my practice every single week. And I have been wanting to do this episode for a while because I think it needs to be said clearly and without a lot of hedging. We are talking about why hormone solutions don't work for some people. And before I go any further, I want to set the record straight on what this episode is and is not. This is not an anti-hormone therapy episode. This is not an anti-medication episode. I take a yes-and approach to medicine. Conventional tools have their place. Hormone replacement therapy has helped a lot of women. GLP-1 medications have real clinical value in the right context. I am not here to tear any of that down. What I am here to do is talk about the piece that keeps getting skipped. The upstream work. The foundational layer that has to be in place for any of those tools to actually do what they are supposed to do and keep doing it. Because when that layer is missing, I do not care how good the tool is. It will not hold. And I see this pattern constantly. So let's talk about it.
