The Manifesting Formula

Christine Rizzo

Welcome to The Manifesting Formula. I’m Christine Rizzo, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that creating a life you love is about so much more than making a vision board and hoping the Universe is paying attention. LOL. Manifesting starts with you—your thoughts, your energy, the way you speak to yourself, the choices you make, what you believe, what you hold onto, what you’re willing to let go of, and most importantly, learning to trust that little voice inside of you that usually knows a hell of a lot more than we give it credit for. After taking two years away from the podcast, I’m coming back with a whole lot more life behind me—and believe me, my friends, life has given me plenty to talk about. LOL. We’re still going to talk about manifesting, because that will always be at the heart of this podcast. But we’re going deeper. We’ll talk about spirituality, intuition, gratitude, relationships, self-love, self-trust, energy, the lessons life continues to teach us, and how all of it plays a part in creating the life we actually want to live. I’ll share the stories, the lessons, the things I’ve gotten right, the things I’ve gotten completely wrong, and probably a few things I’m still trying to figure out. Because I’m not here to tell you that I have all the answers. I’m here to share what I’ve learned, what I’m still learning, and maybe help you see something in your own life a little differently along the way. So whether you’ve been here since Episode 1 or you just found me today, welcome, my friend. I’m so happy you’re here. It’s time to remember just how powerful you really are.

130 - Manifesting - Who Is the Voice in My Head—and Why Won’t It Shut Up?

Send us Fan Mail You know that voice in your head that worries, overthinks, compares, assumes, judges, replays things that already happened and occasionally tries to convince you that something is wrong when absolutely nothing has happened? Yeah. Her. 😂 I call her my Inner Mean Girl—and she has a LOT to say. In this episode of The Manifesting Formula, we're talking about the voice in your head, where some of those thoughts and beliefs come from, and why just because a thought came from your own mind doesn't mean it's true. I'll share how my relationship with my own Inner Mean Girl has changed over the years, why she doesn't get out much anymore 😂, and how meditation helped me learn one of the most important things I know today: I can notice a thought without having to follow it. We'll also talk about the difference between feeling something and feeding it, the Buddhist teaching of the two arrows, and how we can unintentionally keep hurt, anger, fear or disappointment alive long after the original moment has passed. And because this is The Manifesting Formula, we'll connect all of this back to your thoughts, your feelings, your energy—and what you're creating in your life. You don't need to monitor every thought that enters your mind. You don't need to fight with your Inner Mean Girl. And you definitely don't need to believe everything she tells you. Because if it isn't coming from love... it's a f*****g lie. ❤️ In this episode, you'll hear about the Inner Mean Girl and the Inner Goddess, subconscious beliefs and the things we learned to believe about ourselves, how thoughts affect feelings and energy, meditation and awareness, feeling versus feeding an emotion, the Buddhist teaching of the two arrows, and why the voice in your head really can become a whole lot quieter. Thank you for listening to The Manifesting Formula. If this episode made you think of someone whose Inner Mean Girl could use a little less microphone time 😂, send it their way. And if you've been enjoying the podcast, I would love it if you'd take a minute to leave a rating or review. It helps more people discover our little corner of the podcast world. ❤️ Support the show

125 - Manifesting - Let Them Be….So You Can Live A Happier Life

Send us Fan Mail How much energy have you spent trying to get someone else to be different? To understand you. To agree with you. To make a different choice. To show up the way you think they should. Or maybe you’ve spent years wanting someone you love to be the person you needed them to be...and wondering why they just couldn’t do it. In this episode of The Manifesting Formula, we’re talking about what can happen when you finally stop trying to change, fix, convince, or control the people around you... and simply let them be. I’m sharing some very personal stories from my own life—including the relationship I have with my mother, the relationship my daughters wished they could have had with their grandmother, and what it took for me to stop wanting my mother to be someone she simply wasn’t. And what I learned from that changed the way I look at acceptance, expectations, and the people we love. Because letting someone be who they are doesn’t mean you have to agree with them. It doesn’t mean their choices don’t affect you. And it certainly doesn’t mean you have to keep putting your energy into a relationship or situation that isn’t working for you. Sometimes the most freeing thing you can do is stop asking... Why won’t they change? And start asking... What do I want to choose for myself now that I know who they are? Let them make their choices. Let them have their opinions. Let them be exactly who they are. And then... you get to decide who YOU want to be.  Support the show

    124. Manifesting - When Did You Stop Trusting Yourself?

Send us Fan Mail When did you stop trusting yourself? When did you start believing that someone else might know what’s better for you...than YOU do? Maybe you have a decision to make and you immediately start asking everyone around you what they think. Maybe you already know what you want to do...but you keep looking for someone else to tell you it’s the right choice. Or maybe your intuition has been giving you the answer all along... and you simply don't want to hear it. In this episode of The Manifesting Formula, we’re talking about self-trust, intuition, and what happens when we become so focused on everyone else’s opinions that we stop listening to our own. And I’m sharing a personal story about a time when I was given the same answer more than once...and chose not to listen to one of them. Why? Because sometimes the answer we receive isn’t the answer we want. And THAT can make listening to our intuition a whole lot more difficult. We’ll talk about second-guessing ourselves, looking outside of ourselves for reassurance, and learning to recognize when we already know the answer—but keep searching because we’re hoping someone will give us a different one. Because the more you look outside of yourself for answers... the harder it can become to hear the answers that are already inside of you. You don’t need everyone to understand your choices. You don’t need everyone to agree with them. And you certainly don’t need permission from someone else to create a life that feels right for you. Maybe the question isn’t... What does everyone else think I should do? Maybe the question is... What do I already know? Because your intuition may have been talking to you all along. The question is... are you willing to listen? Support the show

    123. Manifesting - My Cup Is Full Again

Send us Fan Mail What happens when something you once loved...starts feeling like something you have to do? And what happens when you finally give yourself permission to step away? After 122 episodes of The Manifesting Formula, I did something I never expected to do. I stopped. I needed a break. I needed space. And most of all...I needed to figure out whether I actually missed doing this. In this very personal return episode, I’m sharing why I stepped away from the podcast, what happened during the time I was gone, and why I finally knew it was time to come back. Because sometimes we keep pouring from our cup long after we realize there isn't much left in it. We keep showing up. We keep doing what we've always done. We keep telling ourselves we should want to continue... even when something inside of us is asking for a pause. But taking a break doesn't always mean you're finished. Sometimes stepping away is exactly what allows you to remember why you loved something in the first place. And during my time away, something happened that I didn't expect... my cup started filling back up. The ideas came back. The excitement came back. And eventually... I wanted to sit behind this microphone again. In this episode, we're talking about listening to yourself, giving yourself permission to pause, letting go of the pressure to know what comes next, and trusting that you don't have to force something simply because it once brought you joy. Because sometimes you don't need to push harder. Sometimes... you just need to give yourself enough space to miss what you love. My cup is full again, my friends. And I'm so happy to be back.  Support the show
