People are the Worst

You guys make me LIVE for Thursdays . Your banter is hilarious. Definitely my favorite podcast.

This podcast quickly became one of my favorites and have binge listened the series, but the passive political commentary is exhausting. The duo make an effort to be respectful of gender identity, sexuality, etc. While I appreciate their concerns pertaining to similar ideologies, I am extremely disappointed in remarks made in episode 90. As a mother listening to a podcast hosted by mothers, hearing the exchange laughs after stating, “Bob definitely thinks embryos are babies” then following with “I do not want to get political here.” I understand it’s their podcast and it’s their right to share their stance on controversial topics, however, it’s incredibly unfortunate that they cannot practice the same respect for all backgrounds. I was hopeful I finally stumbled upon a true crime podcast with limited political interference, but this show appears to be following in line with the industry standard of “acceptable” verbiage.

Heartfelt storytelling! Especially love the regular” awwww” “ahhhh” and “omggg” expressions.

The Jessica Buchanan episode was the best one yet and I have listened to them all . In fact my jaw has dropped in many episodes but the energy from this episode was on a whole other level . I know it’s not something you typically do but I’d recommend doing similar cases in the future .
