Episode 110- Fr. Ben Daghir, Chaplain of Cathedral Prep & Mother Teresa Academy and Pastor of St. Francis Xavier Church

We are excited to welcome Cathedral Prep Chaplain Fr. Ben Daghir as our guest on this week’s episode of The Rambler Podcast! Listeners will have an opportunity to get to know Fr. Ben and hear more about his journey and vocation to the priesthood before diving into an important conversation surrounding our school theme for the 2026-2027year: COURAGE.  Fr. Ben and host Jimmy Smith ’11 discuss what courage means to us as Christians and how our faith in Jesus Christ gives us strength in the different challenges we encounter throughoutour lives. The conversation centers around three powerful moments in the Gospels when Jesus tells us to “take courage”: #1- “Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.” — Matthew 9:2 #2- “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” — Matthew 14:27 #3-“In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” — John 16:33 From finding courage through Christ’s forgiveness, to trusting Him in moments of fear, to remaining faithful through the troubles of this world, Fr. Ben offers a meaningful perspective on what it truly means to live courageously as a follower of Jesus. We hope you’ll tune in for this special episode and carry these words with you throughout our school year: “Be strong and courageous…for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9
