Welcome to the Future Template Parent podcast! I'm your host, Carolyn Solo LCSW, EMDR consultant, business coach, and mom to a neurodivergent six year old, a four year old and one year old. I started offering EMDR intensives in 2022 after becoming burnt out from the grind of week-to-week sessions. Episode 172: What It Really Takes to Build an EMDR Intensive Practice with Brittney Brossart LCSW-C

Enjoyed this episode? Send me a text with your biggest takeaway! Welcome back for another episode of the Future Template Parent Podcast! In this episode, I have Brittney Brossart, LCSW-C on.  Brittney is a trauma therapist and the owner of Soulglow Wellness LLC, a private practice in Frederick, Maryland specializing in EMDR Intensives and maternal mental health. She supports women through the complexities of motherhood, including pregnancy, postpartum, birth trauma, medical trauma, anxiety, overwhelm, and the ways attachment wounds and past experiences can become activated during motherhood. Brittney’s approach to trauma therapy is grounded in EMDR and informed by additional training in trauma-informed yoga, dissociation and parts work, and mind-body approaches to healing. Through focused EMDR Intensives, she creates intentional space for women who are ready to spend deeper, concentrated time processing what has been weighing on them without having to fit that work into a traditional 50-minute session. Her work is compassionate, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that women don't have to keep holding everything together alone.
