My most insane encounter with discernment and the Holy Spirit was at 17. I told my parents I was staying with a friend who had a good reputation, but really went with a different friend that was a partier. I knew that I was making a wrong decision from the start and felt a stomach ache and nervousness, but I didn’t obey. As we were walking up to the club that we were about to go in, even being under aged, as we were crossing the street, I heard a loud ambulance but thought that it was around us so I was precautious looking around, not wanting to go any further. I asked my friend if she also heard the siren because she was acting like they hadn’t and that I was crazy. This was discernment telling me that this would not end well or warning me I guess I should say. That night, leaving the club as a passenger of a so-called boyfriend, I was in a terrible accident where I had a very bad concussion a broken femur, hand, and my left arm was broken. That car crash marked a big change in my life and brought me closer to God again, but I felt very guilty for not obeying and listening to the discernment. I am thankful to still be alive. Sisters, obey when you are given discernment. It’s easier said than done, but can mean the difference between life and death. They said that if he would’ve been going any faster that I could’ve died and went through the windshield. Thank God for you,Alexis, and the way the Holy Spirit and our father is using you. I love you girl ❤️
