A consistently solid podcast covering retro gaming from a predominantly British perspective, which I've long found highly entertaining and informative. The semi-recent addition of an American host has helped flesh out the well-structured discussions even further, from adding further variety to the Game Club episodes to contextualizing the differences between the vastly different gaming markets in the 80s. The crew also maintains a wonderful working relationship with a number of other podcasts, allowing for lots of great cross over and cross promotion opportunities, which has exposed me to just so much great stuff.
The sparodic release schedule may be off-putting for those that prefer predictably scheduled releases, but inevitably there's going to at least be a Game Club episode each month and with that, the incentive to join the Discord community and play along with everyone else thoughout the month.
