Beyond The Patriarchal Spell is a relational podcast exploring the path to freedom, evolution, personal sovereignty and human flourishing. The term ‘patriarchal sex’ is introduced here, which will be referred to as P.S. Not a normal podcast - instead this is a real collective inquiry into what P.S. is, and how we can live beyond it together. Through conversations with therapists, educators, authors, and lived-experience voices, this podcast blends somatic insight, cultural reflection, and grounded dialogue. It invites listeners into a more conscious experience of love, s, and partnership — where connection replaces performance and desire is reclaimed from survival.     68: Menopause & Making Love with Janet McGeever

    There's a common misconception that men are simply being asked to "hold space" for women moving through peri-menopause and menopause. But the truth runs deeper: the initiations a woman's body experiences are also initiations for the man beside her — thresholds where he, too, is invited to find himself. Author and teacher of the Diana Richardson's Making Love retreats, Janet McGeever met me on the podcast to explore this. The mutuality at the heart of today's conversation: is what it takes to move from patriarchal sxx to real lovemaking when a woman is in her menopause years.
