    E151: The Investor Murders

    E151: The Investor Murders

On Tuesday, September 7th, 1982, crew aboard multiple fishing vessels in Craig, Alaska saw the smoke billowing in the distance. It was coming from another ship, The Investor, which had been anchored off of nearby Fish Egg Island for the past day. However, when other crew rushed to aid those on board the ship only to find that not a single person was visible on deck nor actively trying to extinguish the flames, they knew something more more sinister than a fire was at play.

    E150: Kurt Sova

Kurt Sova was the 17-year-old who could always make people smile, either by being his responsible, caring self or by cracking a joke. But on October 23rd, 1981, Kurt was doing something out of character; he was skipping school and drinking the day away. That night, the drinking continued at a local party in Newburgh Heights, Ohio-- a party from which Kurt never made it home. Then, five days later, his body was discovered in a ravine only 500 yards awar from where he was last seen. With odd occurrences and recollections added to a faulty investigation, Kurt's family was left wondering what really happened? And who can they trust is telling the truth?

    E149: Sharon Lee Gallegos

For over sixty years, she was known known by the nickname she had been given in 1960: Little Miss Nobody. Her charred remains had been buried in a shallow grave off of State Route 93 in Congress, Arizona. Thanks so modern genetic testing procedures being done by Othram, she has recently been identified. That part of the puzzle has now been solved. Now we must focus on the crime and who could possibly be callous enough to have committed her murder.

Wonderful true crime podcast!!!!

I am a true crime junkie through and through. It’s pretty much all my podcast library consists of. With that being said, I feel like I have heard so many of the same stories over and over. Enter Coffee and Cases. They truly do cover the lesser known and unheard of cases. That’s wonderful for a true crime junkie and even more wonderful that information is being put out there that could potentially lead to a break in one of these cases. These ladies are so detailed in the information they provide. When they covered the West Memphis Three case they had some details I had never before heard. And when I say I’ve listened to every podcast and documentary regarding that case I mean it! Seriously, add this podcast to your listening rotation, you won’t regret it.

Best podcast I’ve heard!!!

I actually found Coffee and Cases when an episode was mentioned on a different true crime podcast. I looked you ladies up that night and have been listening everyday since then just to catch up on the episodes. I love the way you show dignity and respect to every single one of the cases that you cover. I am 100% a true crime junkie. I’ve honestly seen or heard most cases that are out there so, I think it’s amazing that you give a voice to the “not so popular ones”. Listening to you ladies makes it feel like I am right there at the table having the conversation with you. Thank you for what you guys do!! I am a co-teacher in a special needs classroom an honest to god, I don’t see how you ladies find the time to squeeze in a podcast on top everything else you do everyday but I’m super glad you do!!! 😊❤️ Ms. Kelly

You got my vote!!!

I recently was selected to participate in the final voting for the Peoples Choice Podcast Awards. One category was best female podcasters. I did not recognize any of the nominees so I started listening. These two ladies have a great rapport. They are great story tellers and I enjoy listening to their personal input. I’ve been telling everyone I know to listen to them. If you love true crime you won’t regret.
