Mike and returning cohost, Northern California guitarist Bella Rayne welcomed Texas country artist Payton Riley - 2023 TCMA 'Young Artist of the Year.'
Payton's musical journey began almost immediately when her love for music and talent for singing was evident before she could talk. From voice lessons at seven to writing her own songs at nine, music has always been a central part of her life. She regularly travels to Nashville and Memphis to collaborate and write, adding to her already impressive list of original music. In 2022, her first release to Texas radio, “Long Live Cowboys,” earned her a coveted spot among the Texas greats. In 2023, at just 15 years old, Payton made Texas Country Music history by becoming the youngest-ever nominee for the Texas Country Music Association’s (TCMA) ‘Young Artist of the Year’ category, which she went on to win.With goals as big as The Lone Star State, Payton Riley aims to spread her music far and wide, serving as an inspiration to other young artists. Her faith in God guides her path as she seeks to uplift and encourage fellow musicians and fans alike. Known for her giving heart, sassy attitude, and captivating stage presence, Payton's original songs resonate with audiences of all ages. Payton is Texas Proud! Mike and cohost, actor Joey Viera featured Australian actress and filmmaker Aurora Iler. An Award-Winning filmmaker and actress with a passion for creating film projects that focus on content affecting awareness of important issues.
At just 11, Aurora wrote and directed her first movie ‘Melon Head’ – a film about the importance of Helmet Safety. Her film was proudly entered in numerous film festivals.
Now 13, Aurora has garnered attention for her latest short, ‘Grape’ - a film she wrote, directed and stars in – bringing to light the dangers of vaping. A serious addiction risk to children and teens. ‘Grape’ has received rave reviews and has been recognized at film festivals globally – including the world-premiere in Beverly Hills where Aurora was awarded ‘Best Up and Coming Actor’ at the 15th annual Lady Filmmaker awards. As well, her film received a nomination for ‘Best Social Impact Film.’ At the Mammoth Film Festival, Aurora was nominated for ‘Best Actress in a Short’ and walked away with a Mammoth in Ice trophy for being the ‘Youngest Filmmaker in Attendance’
Since then, Auroa starred as ‘Abby’ - the lead role in ‘Magic Chalk’ - a film for the not-for-profit charity ‘Rize Up’ helping mostly women and children and has also been nominated by the 45thYAA Awards for ‘Best Actressin a Short Film’
This was a wonderful chat with Aurora Iler. Mike and Joey really enjoyed chatting about her process as an actress and  filmmaker. 'Grape' sends a clear message and offers insight into the vaping addiction crisis among youth not only in Australia but world-wide!

Award-Winning Canadian actor Logan Aultman joined Mike and returning cohost, from 'Son of a Critch'. - actress Sophia Powers to ConversationsRadio Ep.169!
Logan Aultman is a young Canadian actor. After participating in musical theater classes he started acting professionally with his first TV role in 'Odd Squad.' He is known for his role as Gunter in Homeschooled on CBC Gem. He was nominated for this role as Best Supporting Actor at the Toronto Web series Festival.
Logan can be seen in the Nickelodeon movie 'Snow Day' as Eli Welch on Paramount+. Logan also voiced the character of Charlie Sloane in the Audible Original Anne of Green Gables alongside Catherine O'Hara and Victor Garber. He also enjoys writing stories with two stories published in Canadian anthologies.

Actress Maya Le Clark Joined Mike and cohost, Actress Kensington Tallman on episode 168 for a chat about her career and her role as ‘Chloe’ on ‘The Thundermans Return’ – now streaming on Paramount+.  A native of San Diego, California, Maya began auditioning at a young age. By the time Maya was born she had already taken dozens of rides to LA for her big sister’s jobs. She was just shy of four years old when she put her hands on her hips and said, “Why don’t I get to audition?"  Before long, she caught the bug and began auditioning for roles.
​A few weeks later, she brought that sweet sassiness into the Chloe Thunderman audition and the rest is history. May has also appeared as young ‘Cleo’ in ‘The Suicide Squad’ and is known for her recurring role as ‘Bria’ on Nickelodeon’s ‘Knight Squad’
When Maya is not auditioning or in front of the camera, she is cuddling with her dog, Lulu, hanging with her friends, and playing competitive soccer.  She loves living by the San Diego beaches with her parents and her older sister, Olivia. With new opportunities on the horizon, we are going to be seeing great things fromMaya Le Clark. Mike and cohost, award-winning journalist Brooke Binkowski welcomed Radio and TV announcer Jim Thornton to ConversationsRadio Episode 167! Jim is the announcer on Wheel of Fortune! Jim Thornton is a radio and television announcer, news anchor and voiceover actor.
Based in Los Angeles, Jim is known is best known as the announcer on “America’s Game” Wheel of Fortune. Originally from Huntington, West Virginia, Jim landed in LA in 1984 at just 19. One year later, he started his broadcasting career. For those who are in the LA area, Jim was heard on a number of radio stations - including KNX 1070 as an anchor and traffic reporter.
In 2010, following the passing of long-time Wheel of Fortune announcer Charlie O'Donnell, Thornton auditioned and was chosen as the new announcer. Jim still pinches himself and loves working on the iconic game show. He also appears on 'Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and was a sub announcer on 'The Price is Right' with Bob Barker.
As a voiceover artist, Thornton provided the voice of Johnny Gomez in 'Celebrity Deathmatch' and the announcer in 'The Cleveland Show.' He has also appeared in video games, where he provided additional voiceover work for 'Hitman: Blood Money' and as a DJ in 'Mafia II.' You can hear Jim in animated features ‘Monster’s Inc’ and ‘WALL-E’ as well.

Mike and ‘Son of a Critch’ star, actress Sophia Powers had a wonderful time chatting with actress Skywalker Hughes on ConversationsRadio Ep.166. This Canadian/American actress is a shining star in film, tv and animation voiceover. Skyler currently stars as ‘Ashley Schmitt in the Lionsgate feature film 'Ordinary Angels' opposite Hilary Swank and Alan Ritchson – in theatres nationwide.
Skywalker Hughes is well known for her role as ‘Sheridan Pickett,’ a series regular, on the Paramount Plusmystery series, ‘Joe Pickett’ - based on the New York Times bestselling book the series by author, C.J. Boxbecoming the "Most-Watched Series of All Time" on the Spectrum streaming service and was quickly renewed for a second season. Shortly after renewal it was purchased by Paramount Plus. You can catch Skywalker in all 20 episodes of the series. Skywalker had already landed another series lead on the highly acclaimed Fox anthology series, 'Accused'. She stars alongside Oscar winner Keith Carradine in the season finale as JoJo Carlson making history as the series' first lead young actor!
Look for Skywalker to star alongside Kate McKinnon, Rashida Jones and Daveed Diggs in the soon to be released Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton movie ‘In The Blink of an Eye.'
As a voiceover artist, Skywalker can soon be heard singing and acting as part of the main cast of Season 5 of the popular animated series ‘Blue's Clues and You’ and also guest stars on Season 9 of Nickelodeon's 'Paw Patrol.’ She also has a guest star role on the new children's series ‘Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum.’
