Is there a greater intelligence, a primordial, intuitive intelligence, beyond just what we can access through our five senses today?

For the modern-day seekers, Gateways to Awakening asks these questions and explores conversations with experts in their fields. I’ll be talking to a variety of guests from Ph.D. academics in Reiki, Shiatsu, binaural beats, Chinese medicine practitioners, mystics, and even one of the leading experts on The Secret. I ask that you stay curious with me, as we navigate these questions and more with our guests. This is your journey, so pay attention to what makes you feel expansive and lighter.

The roots of consciousness and the search for answers to the beyond with Jeffrey Mishlove

The roots of consciousness and the search for answers to the beyond with Jeffrey Mishlove

Jeffrey Mishlove is the New Thinking Allowed host, author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in "Parapsychology" ever awarded by an accredited university which was at the University of California, Berkeley, 1980.

Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series, and is also past-president of the Intuition Network.

This man is a legend in the world of consciousness and when I interviewed a few of my previous guests on Gateways, a number of them mentioned his name time and time again. When I went down the New Thinking Allowed rabbit hole, I was surprised to see who he had interviewed (from Ram Dass, and Terrance McKenna to name a few) and also the way he interviewed his audience, often diving into a diverse set of topics in a deep and thoughtful way.

We talk about the following and much more:
✅ Some major themes that have emerged over the years in the world of psychic phenomenon
✅ Why he says there are many “flowers of consciousness”, but not enough written about the roots of consciousness
✅ What role do indigenous cultures play in the modern world today
✅ What the Egyptian healing temples are
✅ What his perspective is on the future of humanity and consciousness
✅ The “PK man” and some of his research and discoveries

This man is truly a legend. Please tag us and tell us what you loved! You can follow @Gateways_To_Awakening on Instagram or Facebook if you’d like to stay connected.

The 5 Tools to help you find courage and creativity with Phil Stutz

The 5 Tools to help you find courage and creativity with Phil Stutz

On today’s episode, I speak with Phil Stutz, co-author of the book The Tools: Transform your Problems into Courage, Confidence, and Creativity and Coming Alive.

As a 17-year-old college sophomore, Phil found himself as the sounding board for two guys who were fighting over a girl. Without doing much more than listening, Phil watched the trouble resolve itself in front of his eyes. As the guys walked away laughing with each other, Phil knew life had spoken to him and he had found his calling.

Phil received his MD from New York University. After working as a prison psychiatrist on Rikers Island and then in private practice in New York, he moved to sunny Los Angeles where he has been practicing since 1982.

We talk about the following and so much more:
✅ What the 5 tools are and how people can use them to live a better life
✅ How many times does it take for the tools to really stick and work
✅ Why so many of us are interested in staying in our comfort zones, rather than moving through the pain?
✅ The maze, the spiral and how to get unstuck

The book Tools offers five life tools or techniques to unlock human potential. By using these tools, people can solve problems by using tools to connect with a world of limitless forces. Please note that Phil was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2012 if some parts seem unclear.

Fascinating, soothing and

Love this podcast! All the guests have something compelling to offer in exploring the existential questions of our time. Yasmeen is such a gracious and natural host (with a great voice!) I’ve made a habit of listening to an episode as I wind down for the night, though I’ll be honest, hard not to binge! lol

A tempting bingeworthy podcast ahead of its time

The host, Yasmeen, has a true knack for curating a varitety of topics and guests that tickle the mind and soul. Her podcasts are bingeworthy, yet the guests and content leave me going down lengthy and passionate rabbitholes to only integrate one episode per week. I appreciate her cultural perspective and how she takes these notions into consideration with all of the episodes. Thanks Yasmeen for sharing your curiosity with the world - I've gained so much. Not to mention, your voice is so soothing and calming.

One of my fav podcasts!!

Ive listened to several episodes of Gateways To Awakening now and I've noticed a trend:

a) Yasmeen always asks great questions and elicits poignant answers from the guests
b) I always come away with new insights that I can directly apply to my life
c) Although the topics can be complex, I always feel they are presented in clear easy to understand ways.

I especially liked the episode about how to be a conscious male in todays world with Mike Sagun!!

I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to live with more awareness and connection in their lives.
