Fun, mostly

I've enjoyed this podcast for a while. You can rely on the science they do report, but even science itself is still parsing through many of the topics they cover. However, I am compelled to write a review today because of their most recent podcast on race. Their conclusions on the subject make sense, but for some reason they made a point to go after Joe Rogan anf Sam Harris in this one, taking clips from their podcasts and placing it in episodes dialogue as if to say Sam and Joe are part of this racist dark web that are promoting whites as having a superior intellect. Incredibly disingenuous, and far from the truth. If you actually hear the entirety of their thoughts on the matter, they reach a conclusion very similar to what this episode has, except, particularly in Sams case, there is much more depth around the subject and commentary on how to LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD. Very far from what science vs has tried to label them as to their viewers. A real shame. A podcast supposedly structured around unbiased and agendaless science has taken an ugly turn. Taking shots and people in the public eye for their silly puns is one thing, but this is another. And as I've said, Joe and Sam are allies to equality of opportunity and the suggestions made by this podcast are show a stance that its creators are taking that is unfortunately misinformed and poorly researched, something true scientists work to stay far away from.

Intentionally not scientific

Often ignores science to push its own agenda. Aims to expand its audience more than it aims to expand its audience’s minds.
