Your host, Dr. Katrina Ubell, is a board-certified pediatrician and a certified life and weight loss coach. After completing her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Dr. Ubell worked in a private pediatric practice for 10 years before retiring from her practice to become a life and weight loss coach for busy physicians. Dr. Ubell lost 45 pounds in 12 months without any surgery, pills, or unhealthy crash diets.

Just what I needed

This podcast is helping me understand why those 20 lbs I gained w my 2 pregnancies just isn’t coming off! These podcasts are allowing me to live a better life not just lose weight. Monitoring the way we think about everything has been revolutionary for me. So much so that I have even used some of the topics learned in this podcast as I give advice to patients. (I just told someone today that they needed to change their thinking on a specific topic!)

I am so thankful for this podcast and Dr Ubell. I started when I was trying (and succeeded) in losing my pregnancy weight (35#). It was so helpful in helping me achieve my goal. I’m back listening again as I work towards losing the baby weight from baby #2. Listening to Katrina is helping me change my mindset around my weight and practice of medicine. I highly recommend it!

Katrina's coaching is changing my life. I never thought it would be this profound. As a pediatric specialist (neonatology) in the midwest, I can SUPER relate to all her stories, but I feel like she connects with everyone. I cannot recommend it enough. I mention it all the time in my FB group about Weight Loss for Physicians, and I'm early on this journey, but I can see that the mental work is FIRST. I would not be able to be doing IF and LCHF without Katrina's podcast. It's also helping with battling my "demons" like ADHD, sometimes being too extroverted and impulsive, LOTS of fatigue (sugar burning!), emotional eating (white bread anyone!), past traumas, relationship/marriage difficulties, not having self pity, not using the word busy as a badge of honor or excuse, and showing up and being grateful for being a physician.
