Is it Dumb to Buy a House When the Market is Hot? #356

We’re seeing one of the hottest housing markets in recent history! Bidding wars are driving up prices, homes are going under contract after just one week on the market, and mortgage rates are near historic lows. But that raises the question- is it a dumb idea to buy a home with these kinds of conditions and with the market this hot? What if this is another housing bubble? Are we going to see prices come crashing down like they did just over 12 year ago? We share our thoughts as we discuss a bunch of different reasons for residential real estate being on fire. And if you are ready to buy a home, we also cover a number of different tactics that you should implement to ensure that you get the home you want without overpaying.

Breaking Down Business & Investing with Earn Your Leisure #355

Earn Your Leisure is a podcast hosted by Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings. On their show, they talk with guests who are earning and investing their money in all sorts of different ways- ways that a lot of folks probably don’t even know exist. Rashad and Troy give a behind-the-scenes look into different industries and highlight what makes those industries tick as well as what makes their guests successful. They describe their podcast as a “college business class mixed with pop culture” and that’s what we’re talking about today- a blending of the two together in order as we gleen our own personal finance takeaways.

Just like how we can idolize ‘finding the right one’ when looking for a partner or spouse, the same can be true of passive income as we’re talking about our personal finances. The best finance podcast

I listen to a lot of podcasts, and several finance related ones. I’m not educated so I Need this information, especially in the world we live in today. Most finance podcasts are hard to understand, don’t apply to me, or are just plain boring. These guys are down to earth and treat listeners like friends. I trust them.
