He doesn't write maybe. He writes even though — when.Our kids will face hard things. Things we can't protect them from, no matter how much we try. But Psalm 23 gives me so much comfort as a praying mom: even when they walk through the valley, they are never alone. God is right there with them — his rod, his staff, his presence. That's what I'm praying over my kids today. That they would know, deep in their bones: I am not alone.
