Great start.

The first two episodes were brilliant retelling of history. After that I find it has drifted into peripheral issues.

I am finding this story educational heartfelt sorrowful and it makes my heart sick no man should be held to slavery no woman no child and knowing that our whole country was built on slavery which I have always known has always made me feel a little bit of shame no actually a lot of shame and I have always wished that our country would Own up to our biggest mistake and try to make up for it and do the right thing and try and I mean do not try but really do the right thing and make amends for it I don’t know how but do something to make it right for it has been the biggest scar on this country

Wow - Ep 3

Episode 3 was one of the best podcast episodes of any series I’ve ever listened to. So deftly done, with so much deep meaning and appreciation for the immeasurable impact that African Americans have had on the uniquely American music history.
