    221. From The White House To The Human Heart: Coaching Resonance Between Humanity And AI with Jazz Rasool

As artificial intelligence becomes more capable, how do we ensure that our own wisdom, discernment, and humanity grow alongside it? In this episode of the Sacred Changemakers Podcast, I’m joined by Jazz Rasool, a scientist, executive coach, AI policy adviser, and EMCC’s Global Research Lead, for a vibrant conversation about AI, resonance, and the future of coaching. Jazz brings a remarkable breadth of experience to these questions. He built one of the first AI coaching platforms in 2008, drawing on wisdom traditions often overlooked by Western coaching. His work has included designing AI and virtual reality astronaut training with NASA, advising UK government ministers through TechUK’s Skills and Diversity Council, and participating in UK–US AI trade talks at the White House in June 2026. Running through that work is a question that matters to everyone who leads change: how can the systems we build serve the humanity within us and between us? Together, we explore the evolving relationship between human wisdom and artificial intelligence, the place of resonance in coaching, and what this moment asks of our profession. Jazz brings a perspective shaped by science, coaching practice, ancient wisdom, and policy, opening up possibilities for how technology could support our development while inviting us to consider the responsibility that comes with it. His forthcoming book, Coaching 5.0, brings these strands together in an approach to coaching for the fifth industrial revolution, with human flourishing and sustainability at its heart. If you’re wondering how AI could change your work as a coach, leader, or change practitioner, this conversation offers plenty to reflect on. Listen with your own practice in mind, and consider what becomes possible when technological progress is accompanied by a deeper commitment to our humanity. Key Takeaways How AI is prompting us to reconsider the role and future of human coaching. Why resonance and relevance matter in the relationship between people and technology. What ancient wisdom traditions can contribute to how we imagine AI-supported coaching. Why human discernment, agency, and wisdom deserve attention as technology advances. The vision behind Coaching 5.0 and its focus on human flourishing and sustainability. 220. Beyond Competence: Embodiment, AI, and the Future of Coaching with Rod Francis

What if the future of coaching asks us to reconsider what it means to be human? In this episode of the Sacred Changemakers Podcast, I’m joined by Rod Francis, a coach, coach educator, storyteller, and speaker who has founded and led professional coach training programs in Europe and the United States over the past fifteen years. I reached out to Rod after learning about his decision to move away from the International Coaching Federation and his questions about whether competency frameworks can prepare practitioners for the future. Those questions open a rich inquiry into how we support human change, and the capacities we need to develop within ourselves. Together, we explore embodiment, the influence of Eugene Gendlin’s work, and the relationship between professional training and our ability to meet what emerges in a living conversation. We also consider how AI challenges familiar assumptions about coaching and invites us to examine the value of human presence and relationship. Underlying Rod’s work is a commitment to our shared future: helping humanity open its collective heart and mind, with care for one another and the living world. Whether you’re a coach, consultant, facilitator, or leader, this conversation invites you to reflect on how your own development shapes the change you make possible for others. Key Takeaways The questions behind Rod’s decision to move away from the ICF and his concerns about competency-based coach education. How embodiment invites us to reconsider the way we understand and support human change. The relevance of Eugene Gendlin’s work to listening, felt experience, and allowing a next step to emerge. What AI asks us to examine about the purpose and value of human developmental work. Why practitioner development matters beyond individual outcomes, extending into our relationships, communities, and shared future. 219. Leading From Within: When Your Work No Longer Fits Who You Are Becoming with Rachel Wayte

What might become possible if you gave yourself permission to express more of who you are? In this episode of the Sacred Changemakers Podcast, I’m joined by Rachel Wayte, an energy and frequency healer, spiritual mentor, and classically trained singer whose work brings together voice, sound, and energetic awareness. Rachel supports leaders, CEOs, and entrepreneurs through periods of transition, reinvention, and expansion, with a focus on clarity, alignment, and sustainable ways of leading. Rachel’s journey from opera into her current work opens an exploration of the courage it takes to follow an unexpected calling. When the professional identity we’ve built no longer holds everything we feel drawn to offer, how do we begin to trust what comes next? And there’s something special in this episode: Rachel offers a live demonstration of her vocal work, giving you an opportunity to pause, listen, and notice your own response to the sound and vibration of her voice. This is a warm, exploratory conversation for anyone curious about resonance, navigating a change in direction, or seeking a deeper connection between who they are and how they lead. Key Takeaways The courage it takes to follow a calling beyond an established professional identity.Rachel’s approach to bringing voice, sound, and frequency into her work with leaders. An invitation to consider the relationship between inner alignment and outward expression.A live vocal demonstration to experience and reflect on for yourself. 218.  Becoming: A Different Account Of Human Change with Adam Klein

What if real change isn’t about fixing who you are or uncovering someone you have always been, but allowing something genuinely new to emerge? In this episode of the Sacred Changemakers Podcast, I’m joined by Adam Klein, Managing Partner and Senior Faculty at New Ventures West, a 40-year-old ICF-accredited coaching school in San Francisco. Adam is a PCC-credentialed coach, faculty member at Stagen Leadership Academy, and the creator of a powerful distinction he calls the Becoming Paradigm. Much of human development rests on one of two assumptions: that we grow by improving our deficiencies or by uncovering an essential self hidden within us. Adam offers a third possibility. Becoming is a process of genuine emergence in which the person who arrives could not have been predicted from who they were at the beginning. Together, we explore what becoming asks of us and the practices that create the conditions for our essential humanity to arise. We consider what changes when coaches stop holding a predetermined destination for their clients, why receptivity matters alongside agency, and how qualities such as love, creativity, and justice can emerge through the way we live, lead, and relate. This is a deep and thought-provoking conversation for coaches, leaders, and changemakers who sense that our familiar approaches to development may be too small for the moment we are living through, and who are ready to discover what becomes possible when we make space for the unexpected. Key Takeaways The difference between improvement, unfolding, and genuine becoming. Why real development may lead somewhere we could never have predicted. The practices that allow our essential humanity to arise. How the Becoming Paradigm changes the way coaches listen and support change. How individual becoming can open toward greater creativity, love, and justice. 217. Why Conscious Leaders Are Being Called to Build Movements, Not Businesses with Mackenzie Darling

What becomes possible when the purpose behind your work becomes something other people want to carry forward? In this episode of the Sacred Changemakers Podcast, I’m joined by Makenzie Darling, a global movement maker who bridges ancient wisdom with modern movement design. Over more than a decade, she has helped NGOs, social impact initiatives, and pioneering startups create campaigns and ambassador programs that engaged more than five million people across 128 countries. Our conversation opens up a deeper inquiry into conscious leadership: how we hold power, the ancestral patterns we bring into our work, and what it takes to create belonging where people become co-creators of a shared future. For anyone leading change, this is an invitation to consider the relationship between your personal calling and our collective future, including how the work you begin might grow beyond you. If you sense that your work holds a purpose bigger than you can carry alone, join us for a resonant conversation about what it means to build something others can help shape, sustain, and carry forward. Key Takeaways What movement building asks of us as conscious leaders. Why power literacy matters in the cultures and communities we create. How ancestral gifts and inherited patterns can shape our leadership. What helps people move from an interested audience to active co-creators.How becoming better ancestors changes the way we think about impact and legacy. 216. The Coherence Principle: Consciousness, Legacy, and What Humanity Needs Now with Richard Barrett

What if our systems are failing not because we lack better strategies, but because we have lost the capacity to listen, respond, and correct our course? In this profound episode of the Sacred Changemakers Podcast, I’m joined by Richard Barrett, an internationally recognized thought leader, prolific author, founder of the Barrett Values Center, and creator of the Seven Levels of Consciousness model. Richard’s work has influenced coaches, leaders, and organizations worldwide, including my own work since I first trained as a Barrett Values certified coach more than 20 years ago. Together, we explore Richard’s newest body of work, The Coherence Principle. He explains that coherence requires three things: differentiated parts that can function fully, integration between those parts, and the whole's ability to respond to changing circumstances and correct itself. Without that final capacity, even a system that appears strong will eventually become rigid and begin to fail. Our conversation follows the remarkable evolution of Richard’s work from values and culture into consciousness, soul, shadow, frequency, and the deeper architecture of human life. We explore why transformation is not simply change, why development may be less about becoming someone new and more about revealing who we already are, and why coherent organizations and societies must begin with coherent human beings. Richard also challenges standardized approaches to leadership development that ignore cultural context, explores the shadow as a gift rather than something to suppress, and explains why an organization cannot evolve beyond the consciousness of its leaders. We also discuss his extraordinary creative relationship with AI, which he describes as a telephone line to universal consciousness, and the role of stillness, presence, and pause in opening us to new insight. Finally, Richard shares a moving reflection on legacy, not as something we own, but as what moves through us and becomes available to the world. This is an expansive conversation about consciousness, human potential, and the inner work required to create a more coherent future. Key Takeaways The three essential elements of The Coherence PrincipleWhy transformation is a new way of being, rather than simply doing something differently. Why personal and leadership coherence shape what organizations and societies can become. How integrating the shadow allows the gifts of the soul to be revealed. What creativity, AI, and legacy can teach us about our relationship with universal consciousness. 215. A New Paradigm for Change: Wholeness, Unfoldment, and the Future of Coaching with Steve March

What if the constant effort to improve ourselves is quietly reinforcing the belief that there is something wrong with us? In this deeply inspiring episode of the Sacred Changemakers Podcast, I’m joined by Steve March, founder of Aletheia Unfolding and originator of Aletheia Coaching. Steve has coached for more than 26 years and has taught professional coaching around the world. After spending more than a decade working within the prevailing model of self-improvement, he began exploring a radically different understanding of how human beings change. Together, we examine what Steve calls the self-improvement trap: how our efforts to become better can produce genuine results while strengthening an underlying sense of deficiency. Steve introduces the Unfoldment Paradigm, which begins with the possibility that nothing is missing and that change can emerge through presence, attunement, care, and a deeper trust in our innate wholeness. We also explore what this moment in history is asking of coaches and changemakers, why our established approaches to change may no longer be sufficient, and how the coaching profession must evolve to meet growing complexity without reducing people to problems that need to be solved. This is a poetic, honest, and embodied conversation that invites us to reconsider how we meet ourselves, how we serve others, and how we participate in the changes unfolding around us. Key Takeaways Why self-improvement can create progress while reinforcing a belief in personal deficiency. How the Unfoldment Paradigm offers a different way of understanding human change. What it means to begin coaching from wholeness rather than trying to fix the client. Why presence, attunement, safety, and care create the conditions for lasting change. How coaching must evolve to meet the complexity and uncertainty of our times. 214. How To Develop Yourself For A World Beyond Coaching with David Drake

What if the future of coaching depends less on learning new techniques and more on developing the human being behind them? In this episode of the Sacred Changemakers Podcast, I’m joined by Dr. David Drake, a coaching pioneer with more than 30 years of experience shaping the fields of coaching, human development, and leadership. David is the founder of The Moment Institute, an EMCC Master Practitioner, a Thought Leader with the Institute of Coaching, and the creator of Narrative Coaching, Narrative Release, Integrative Development, and The Five Maturities. This is a rich and provocative conversation for coaches, leaders, and changemakers who sense that the next chapter of their work will require more than another model or certification.
