The Man Enough Podcast
What does it mean to be a man, and human, in the world today? This Webby-nominated audio & video podcast explores what it means to be a man today and how rigid gender roles have affected all people. The show creates a safe environment for a range of perspectives to meet and stay at the table, exploring how the messages of masculinity show up in relationships, body image, privilege, fatherhood, sex, success, mental health and so much more. Instead of polarizing and demonizing men and masculinity, it invites all humans to participate and thrive in the world. The weekly series is hosted by filmmaker, actor & author Justin Baldoni, author & journalist Liz Plank, and President of Wayfarer Studios & award winning music producer Jamey Heath. It’s currently in Season 2 and is in the top 1% of most followed and shared podcasts on Spotify, beloved by men, women and people of all genders. If you’re interested in learning in real time, deepening your understanding of yourself and others, and being reminded that you are enough, this is the podcast for you. The only one I couldn’t listen to was the political one in August. This is my one outlet from the outside politics and to hear it on a podcast from you guys was disappointing. I just want to listen to the podcast to earn his to grow as a person and how I can help others not listen to politics.
Just wow!

Brutally honest and so vulnerable. I appreciate hearing both the male and female perspectives. This podcast has helped me reframe my thinking and look deeper within myself. Thank you!!
It’s good but could be better

A good podcast overall. However, from my perspective, it would be more powerful without Liz or maybe a different woman. She seems too hyper-focused on problems instead of solutions. She talks about racism as if she knew better than Jamey and it annoys me when she corrects him as if she’s the one going through it. I feel she related too many things to sexism too. As a minority and a woman, I don’t get her and I feel she is not as helpful as she thinks. I feel she divides us by sex and race too often. I feel she overcorrects most of the time and generalizes too much.
My mind was blown

I started listening to this podcast earlier this year, and I started from the beginning. Dr. Joy Degruy’s episode stood out to me because I just recently got my provisional license as a therapist. Yesterday, I had the honor to hear her speak and actually meet her. I cried. This podcast has been incredibly eye-opening regarding my feelings on masculinity, feminists and the struggle of men. I wish I could get everyone around me to listen to these insightful and meaningful conversations. To the wonderful hosts- THANK YOU!
