EPPP Study Podcast-

I previously started this podcast before beginning my EPPP studying as a way to ease my way into it, but stopped due to audio recording issues earlier on with LOUD commercials. However, after having been studying for a few months now, this podcast has been very helpful in reviewing past sections and bringing my known information together in an integrative way that better helps me understand functioning. That said, I do wish that there was a bit more fine-tuning in terms of more editing (to note the moments the host has misspoken, better adherence to pronunciations (the host often throws me off stating a term that I’m unfamiliar with until I realize what he means), and double checking notes/pre-reading them to remove any potential errors. Lastly, the ads are horrible. I wish there were ones more centered to the audience. Something about gambling ads while studying to become a licensed psychologist just feels wrong (haha). That said, this podcast is very helpful and appreciate the way he has segmented. It’s helped me understand more than just terms, but functioning and connections to other materials.

The volume of the narrator is so low that I cannot hear it in my car on some of the episodes. Then the commercials will be extremely loud because my volume is so high. I wish he would redo some of these because the information is great for folks studying for the EPPP (which is why I didn’t give it. One star ). I stopped listening after the third episode because I cannot hear it.
