The Top 5 of Everything is one of those podcasts that feels like I’m enjoying a conversation with friends. Friends who are confident, relatable, and sometimes spectacularly wrong. The back and forth between Rowan and Squibb is the real draw of the show. Their opinions are delivered with such sincerity that I find myself both leaning in and internally screaming, “No! Absolutely not!” The topics are oddly random and even when they don’t seem like something I’m particularly invested in, I end up having opinions and learning more than I care to (looking at you, Top 5 Horses.) A great listen!

This podcast is joy incarnate. The episodes are a deft ballet of unhinged delusion and sharp insight, endlessly propelled forward by a flawlessly simple premise and structure. You’ll often find yourself angrily vocalizing disagreement with their selections, leading to concerned stares if you are a consumer of podcasts in public, your earbuds serving as the delineation between your happiness and the world’s sanity. The podcast is effortlessly easy to immerse yourself in, such that the ending of each episode can often feel abrupt, leaving you wanting more than the single episode released each week.

So proud to call myself a five head! This was such a blast to listen to and I am such a fan. I can’t wait to binge this and will seriously consider subscribing to the Patreon. You guys are having so much fun and sound like such a blast to hang out with. I found myself pausing to jump into the convo! Cheers to you both, keep on keeping on

I finally found a podcast that is… what this is. On the one hand, I can easily zone out as Rowan waxes poetic about sandwiches. On the other, I’ll find myself compulsively google image searching flags, writing out cursive capital letters and arguing in my head about the desirability of night milk over the age of 8. Heck, I’m a certified 5 head!
