Test Drive Your Dream: How to Create Motivation

What if you could actually test drive your dream life before you had it? In this episode of Mind Your Own Beeswax, I’m talking about one of my favourite mindset and manifestation practices: test driving your dream. Instead of just visualising the life you want, I’m challenging you to go out and experience it. Touch it, see it, feel it, spend time in it and figure out what it actually feels like. In this episode I cover: • What it means to test drive your dream and why experiencing your goals can create motivation  • How to use visualisation to get clear on your dream life and future goals  • Practical ways to test drive your dream job, dream home, dream lifestyle and other goals  • How taking action can create motivation instead of waiting to feel motivated  • Why your dream life might be closer than you think and how to recognise the things you are already living I also talk about why testing your dream can be useful even when it doesn’t go the way you expected. Sometimes experiencing something in real life can show you that the dream you thought you wanted isn’t actually right for you, helping you save time, money and energy and find something that feels more aligned. I’m also walking you through how to visualise your dream day in detail, from where you wake up and what you do in the morning to how you spend your afternoon, who you are with, what you do for work and how you end your day. This kind of dream life visualisation can help you get clear on what you actually want and, perhaps more importantly, realise that some parts of your dream life might already be happening. If you’re feeling stuck, unmotivated or unsure about what you want, this episode is your reminder that your dream life might be much closer than you think. You might even be living parts of it already. So, what is the dream you want to test drive? How to Hit Your 2026 Goals in 90 Days

We’re officially 75% of the way through 2026, which means there are just three months left of the year, but let me remind you: there is STILL so much time to achieve your goals, reset your mindset and make this year count. In this episode of Mind Your Own Beeswax, I’m doing my Q3 reflection and Q4 goal setting check in for 2026. I’m looking back at July, August and September, reflecting on my biggest wins, the habits I’ve built, the mindset shifts I’ve made and the goals I’ve achieved, before getting clear on exactly what I want from the final three months of the year. But this episode isn’t just about my goals. I’m giving you a simple end-of-year goal setting and life reset you can do for yourself. We’re talking about how to reflect on the past quarter, set realistic goals for the next 90 days, create a Q4 bucket list, prioritise fun, schedule intentional rest and decide on your non-negotiables for the final quarter of the year. I’m also talking about something we all need more of during the busy holiday season: letting go of guilt. When your time, energy and mental bandwidth are stretched, you can’t do everything. I’m sharing how I’m deciding what matters most, what I’m willing to let slide and how to choose your priorities without feeling guilty. If you’re looking for 2026 goal setting motivation, Q4 goals, an end-of-year reset, personal growth motivation, productivity tips, or a fresh start before the new year, this episode is your reminder that you don’t have to wait until January to change your life. There are still 92 days, 13 weeks and 2,208 hours left in 2026. That is plenty of time to make a change, achieve a goal, have more fun and finish the year feeling proud of yourself. So let’s reflect, reset, set some goals and make Q4 the best quarter yet. Your life isn’t going to change because the calendar does. You have to decide what you want and go make it happen. How to Stop Living in the Past & Start Creating Your Future | Dr Joe Dispenza & The Quantum Field

What if the thoughts you keep replaying in your head are actually keeping you stuck in the past? In this episode of Mind Your Own Beeswax, I’m getting very real about something I’ve been working on lately: overthinking conversations. You know those moments when you replay a conversation in your head, think about everything you should have said, or completely imagine future conversations that haven’t even happened? Yep. I’ve been doing that too. I’m sharing what I’ve realised about overthinking, negative thought patterns, emotional energy and manifestation, and how becoming aware of your thoughts can be the first step towards changing them. I also dive into what I’ve been learning from Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Becoming Supernatural, including the connection between our thoughts, emotions and the energy we bring into our lives. I chat about metacognition, elevated emotions, meditation, the quantum field and acting 'as if' and how I’m using these practices to stop living in the energy of the past and start creating the future I actually want. I share the practical things I’m currently doing to break the cycle of overthinking, including catching myself in the middle of a thought spiral, using gratitude to shift my energy, meditation and visualisation, and writing down the things I want to release. This episode is your reminder that self improvement is a lifelong journey. You’re never a finished person, and there will always be new lessons, thought patterns and parts of yourself to work on. If you’ve been overthinking, struggling to let go of the past, replaying conversations, trying to manifest your dream life or simply feel stuck in your current mindset, I hope this episode finds you at exactly the right time. Because my biggest realisation is this: if you’re living in the energy of the past, you can’t access the energy of the future you’re trying to create. Be More Dolly: 3 Life Lessons From Dolly Parton

In this episode of Mind Your Own Beeswax, I’m talking about the one and only Dolly Parton and the 3 life lessons Dolly Parton taught me about success, authenticity, taking risks and creating the life you want. I’ve gone down a full Dolly Parton rabbit hole lately, and the more I learned about her incredible career, the more I realised just how much we can learn from her. Dolly wasn’t just a country music icon she was authentic, resilient, wildly successful, and completely unapologetic about being herself. So I’m breaking down my top 3 life lessons from Dolly Parton: Stop caring so much about what other people think. Dolly never changed herself to fit in. From her iconic hair, makeup and glitter to her larger than life personality, she stayed true to herself and that authenticity became part of what made her so successful.Don’t be afraid to pivot and take the leap. Dolly left a successful TV career to pursue her own path, and that difficult transition inspired her to write I Will Always Love You. Sometimes the hardest chapters of our lives are exactly what push us towards something better. As Dolly says, “If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.”Embrace the different chapters of your life. Dolly’s career has spanned decades, music, movies, television, business and so much more. Her story is the perfect reminder that you don’t have to have your entire life figured out. Say yes to opportunities, show up, put yourself out there and trust that the path will unfold. In this episode, I’m talking about Dolly Parton, personal growth, confidence, authenticity, taking risks, following your dreams, overcoming fear, success, resilience and trusting the journey and why sometimes you need to care a little less about what people think and a little more about being unapologetically yourself. So if you’re feeling stuck, scared to make a change, worried about other people’s opinions or wondering whether you’re on the right path, take this as your sign to be a little more Dolly.  Care less. Dream bigger. Say yes. Take the leap. And remember: there ain’t no rainbow without the rain.  Follow me for more on Instagram @mindyourownbeeswaxpodcast & TikTok: @mindyourownbeeswaxpod

I explain the full moon vs new moon, why ancient cultures relied on the moon to guide their lives, some fascinating moon history,  and the simple rituals I use every month to stay aligned with my goals.
