    Stacy and Clinton Ask: Is Cher Horowitz Really a Fashion Icon?

    In this episode of Why'd They Wear That?, Stacy London and Clinton Kelly finally take on Clueless with special guest Bransen Gates  - and ask the question that might get them in trouble: does Cher Horowitz really deserve fashion icon status? Together, they revisit some of the movie's most memorable looks and put Cher head-to-head with Dionne, Amber, and even Branson himself to see whose style actually holds up best.   They start with what Clinton considers Cher's best look in the entire movie: a sheer blouse layered over a white tank with a high-waisted trouser and loafer that feels surprisingly current. From there, they tackle the legendary yellow plaid school look, Dionne's coordinating patent accessories and statement hat, '90s brown lipstick, knee-high socks, cropped cardigans, faux fur, animal prints, and the movie's constant battle between polished minimalism and more adventurous personal style.   As the matchups continue, Dionne repeatedly steals the spotlight with bolder styling, more range, and the confidence to make every outfit feel completely her own. They also revisit Tai's famous makeover and - after hosting more makeovers than they can count - Stacy and Clinton admit they are a little underwhelmed by the final reveal. They love the joy and confidence behind the transformation, but by What Not to Wear standards, "a top and a skirt" simply would not have been enough.   Then it's party time.
