This week, the 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁! 𝗽𝗼𝗱 hosts PART 2 of Erin’s conversation with Michael Galinsky: filmmaker, cinematographer, photographer, musician, and owner of Rumur, a production and distribution company. (In case you missed Part 1, tune in to Episode 143!)
Erin and Michael continue to dissect the role our mental health plays in our physical health through the lens of ALL THE RAGE, a film Michael co-directed about Dr. John Sarno’s holistic, trauma-informed healthcare perspective.
ICYMI – Your Post-Episode Homework: Take today's episode, marinate on it, journal about it, share it with a friend, because the purpose of today's show is to make you feel like you are not alone. The purpose of this series is to make you understand that healing can be possible with the power of your own mind. That what we put into our brain tells our bodies a story.
And if you can heal your mind, you can heal your body and then you can help others heal.
Press play now, and get ready for a conversation that doesn’t skimp on “aha” moments.

    About Michael Galinsky:
Michael is a filmmaker, photographer, and musician. Along with his wife Suki, he’s produced six award-winning feature films and dozens of shorts. His latest book of photos is called Malls Across America, published by Steidl-Miles. Minisode 22: Introducing: The Failfluencer Files! Celebrating Real Work Fails with Really Real Leaders

The gig is up! Please welcome to the stage: The Failfluencer Files! Celebrating Real Work Fails with Really Real Leaders
This is exactly what it sounds like, improve it! peeps. We’re reframing and filing the failures that make us, us. Dare we say, we’re celebrating them. Yup, we’re throwing an actual party that’s right in your headphones. What happens as a result? Our failures lose their power over us as we share the dark, embarrassing, human parts of our life. The ones that normally don’t make it on the ‘Gram. The ones that connect us farrrrrrrr more than sharing our successes.
The first ever Failfluencer File features (woooo say that 10 times fast) Erin’s true story of one of her latest podcast episode fails.
Click the link below to leave us a voice note with your WTF (Worst Terrifying Fail). We’ll be there, failing right beside you.

Self Healing Series: How to Overcome People Pleasing & Set Boundaries with Heather Whelpley

Self Healing Series: How to Overcome People Pleasing & Set Boundaries with Heather Whelpley

Happy #𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, improve it! peeps! We can’t wait to share this one with you, featuring special guest @Heather Whelpley.
As a keynote speaker, award-winning author, and host of the podcast Create Your Own Rules For Life, Heather speaks on imposter syndrome, authentic voice, and creating your own rules for success.
This episode is absolutely jam-packed with goodies. And not to give any spoilers but as a light appetizer we have some ideas Erin and Heather discuss to get you just as pumped as us to 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻:
💡Joy and shame cannot exist at the same time
💡What it actually looks like to work with instead of against our bodies
💡Finding, getting to know, and listening to the quieter, inner truth- instead of the louder, more obvious inner critic
💡Finding our inner child as an adult and how to have FUN
💡People pleasing and the hard conversations that help us to let go of it
💡What happens to the pain in our bodies when we tell the truth
💡Breaking the rules to unlock inner freedom, joy, and fulfillment and in turn to unlock this in the outside world, too
ICYMI – Your Post-Episode Homework: Make your own version of your bliss list. Start with this question - who brings you joy? Write down all of those people. Then write down what activities bring you joy. Then surround yourself with those people and put yourself in situations where you can be more joyful.
Make sure to share today’s episode with a friend who you think could benefit, and get ready for an a life changing episode!🔗🎧
