Almost a 5
Loved Jillian Michaels since Biggest loser. Just found this podcast. It’s good but 2 things keep it from being great. 1. Jillian interrupts/talks over the guest a lot. And sometimes it’s when they are trying to explain something I really want to hear about. 2. They spend so much time on what’s bad about their said topic, and not enough time on giving sound suggestions on things we could try to start fixing things or turning things around if the discussion seems to be hitting on exactly our circumstances I really want some first steps to begin putting myself on the right track.
Struggling with the new format
I’m a long time fan of Jillian’s media. But, I preferred the previous format of the podcast. Lately, there are too many guests on too wide of a range of topics. I am not ingested in a good portion of the speaker/topics anymore. I saw this in another review and I agree… the podcast needs a more specific mission statement/North Star. Because it’s too board lately. I’ll still stick around to see if it improves!
Ugh - fitness anyone?
The constipation cure? Sorry, this is not why I come to Julian Michaels for. Also not to learn about magical mushrooms or a centenarian who I can barely hear due to audio issues. I wish Jillian would stay closer to fitness and nutrition topics. And of COURSE Jillian and the guest sell the audience a four-week constipation course in the first two minutes of the podcast. So sick of being sold courses too.
