I’ve listened with delight to every episode since Becky Gannon began the podcast over 6 years ago! Thank you, Becky, for your wonderful interviews! You often know the guest and/or research them so well, that the episodes sound like great conversations between close friends. The respect and support you show your guests as they share how they have come to a love of miniatures and their many unique ways of engaging in the world of miniatures reveals a care that you have not just for your guests, but also for the rest of us, whom you have not met. You introduce us, your listeners, to these interesting, talented individuals in ways that highlight their accomplishments, their paths to this point and to where they may aspire, along with other personal life stories, often sharing some of your own along the way! In so doing, you demonstrate that supportive quality you often highlight as a common characteristic of people you have met in what you sometimes refer to as “the mini-community.”Thank you for the ways you and your podcast support me and your other listeners by entertaining, inspiring, and helping us feel a respected and supported part of this mini-community! You also help me remember that though the numbers of people with this passion may be a relatively small segment of the population— this diverse, internationally interconnected group of people who are “mad about miniatures” is certainly not a tiny group— Rather,we are a world-wide, open hearted, multi-faceted mini-community of friends and future friends” who share a love for tiny things— a love that nearly always connects us in beautiful ways to other people!
