The Struggle of Men with Jill Coleman and Danny-J

The Struggle of Men with Jill Coleman and Danny-J

In this episode of Next Level Human, Dr. Jade has a conversation with Jill Coleman and Danny-J Johnson, hosts of The Best Life Podcast. The three discuss how society is viewing men nowadays, how men see other men, and some mindset shifts men need to go through to handle their problems. Men are more prone to seek popularity and power, sacrificing their mental health along the way.
How do men deal with their problems and traumas? How do men access their feminine side (and vice-versa)? How do men and women understand each other? These are all questions debated in this episode. Before discussing gender, however, we need to remember that we are all humans in the first place. Each of us is unique, changeable, and not always emotionally available. Recognizing this is the first step to growth.

Metabolic Flexibility with Dr. Mike T. Nelson

Metabolic Flexibility with Dr. Mike T. Nelson

In this episode of Next Level Human Podcast, Dr. Jade welcomes Dr. Mike T. Nelson to discuss all the details of human performance and how metabolism works during weight loss. Dr. Mike is a Human Performance Specialist and Fitness and Nutrition Educator, and understanding these nuances has been one of his projects throughout his 18-year career.
In order to look better and perform better, it’s crucial to understand the role that calories and macronutrients (protein, carbohydrate, and fats) play in our bodies. Balancing the three is the key to achieving a weight loss goal. Although the equation “calories in vs. calories out” is the foundation for changing body composition, there is more to it.
A fast metabolism is ideal for someone looking to lose weight, while a slow metabolism helps with muscle gain and strength. A flexible metabolism, however, is a proven way to master body composition. Dr. Jade and Dr. Mike also discuss training, different diets, and the most recent research on this topic.

52 and a new attitude

Been a convert to Dr Jades method. Always been fit and a runner with moderate resistance training. So far I’m happy with results of increasing movement over cardio and 3x HIIT. Plus trying to get lots more protein.
