A Natural

Coach Munro is a natural behind the mic. A great lineup of guests bring a wealth of lacrosse knowledge to the table. Jamie Munro does a wonderful job eliciting information, pulling on threads to go deeper into a subject when called for. His easy conversational style makes these segments shine. Great stuff for the lacrosse player, parent, coach, or fan. Thanks Coach!

John Thompson - Amherst Coach

Outstanding pod cast ... really appreciate how Coach Thompson has evolved as a coach, willing to take risks and try new approaches in connecting with and motivating his players. Impressed also with how he has utilized his Brown and PHD Psychology education to impact his coaching style and approach. And love his honesty about what he believes to be his strengths as a coach and how he determined that his comfort level was coaching smart kids in academically challenging environments (with open curriculum) at Brown and Amherst:)

Great insights for all coaches - young coaches getting started and old school relics like me- that there is more to the game then X’s & O’s. Figuring out how to get the best of your players is an art not a science. No one has totally figured it out but it sounds like John is pushing the boundaries at Amherst.

Many programs and coaches can beat you with overwhelming talent. The coaches that most impress me are the ones that can win without overwhelming talent, by figuring out how to get the most out of the players that they have to work with.

Love it, but there is a tech issue

Coach Munro- really enjoy your interviews & discussions. There has been a technical issue where it stop half way through, and will not play the second halve of the session. Not seen this behavior in other Podcasts I listen to. Thanks.
