Tawny thinks about the saying, “you can do anything, you can’t do everything,” Often, unrealistic expectations come from an inability to accept a certain fact, situation or person as they truly are, which can lead to codependency and trying to “fix” things. Recovery Rocks

I’m so glad I found this podcast. I’ve been in recovery for almost 3 years and finding this podcast was perfect timing for me. I was longing reassurance that there’s more than one way to recover from alcohol abuse disorder - I need to carry recovery in my pocket. Thank you Tawny & Lisa

Your book is changing my life! I have been trying to get sober for years. Your story is so similar to mine. I have been binging every episode and sharing with my sober friends about your podcast. Thank you both for the amazing work you are doing!

This pod is my ME time.

I often feel as if I’m at a restaurant w Tawny & Lisa when I’m listening to this show. I was always the most over-the-top party girl among my circle of girlfriends so dialing back & eventually quitting drinking was on my own. My awesome friends could not relate as going out and having 0 or just 1 drink was normal to them. So I appreciate this show. There’s no shame in it. It’s real life. Makes me stronger in my WHY!!!
