Dr Gundry’s suggestions work

For about two years now I have followed the plant paradox plan. Whenever I veer off, and eat gluten or dairy, my asthma and allergies flare-up. It is worth the effort to adopt the plant paradox eating style. It has been instrumental in my feeling better and less sinus issues. But, Dr. Gundry, how long might it take for chronic sinusitis and allergies to heal completely? I am patiently waiting while I continue to enjoy delicious plant paradox foods.

This guy’s theories are interesting- but they are no more than theories. And what’s wrong with that? Why the need to spout about scientific data and research? It’s not there and Gundry is disingenuous in leading listeners to believe his studies are fact based.
He had a lot to say about the diet of Sardinians who live in the Blue Zone. Based on what? A trip he and his wife took to visit the area? That doesn’t discredit his thoughts but it certainly doesn’t put them in the category of any kind of research. Nutritional research must follow same standard as all medical and scientific research. Gundry, stop pretending! It’s embarrassing!
I do believe he’s done a lot of studies and they are perhaps very worthwhile. I think they are. But quit the charade about data and research.
How sanctimonious for him to deride the journalist from National Graphic who wrote ‘The Blue Zones’ for not having the credentials to put such a book together & then he bases his information about the Sardinian diet on a trip he and his wife took. Ha!
If he knows so much about what contributes to the diet of some of the populations of the Blue Zones, one being sheep and goat cheese, why is it that neither kinds of cheese or any type of cheese are mentioned in the index of his book, ‘The Plant Paradox’? It’s because he only found out about these diets in relation to the questions he’s been getting about the contradictions between his diet and those who live in the Blue Zones. He found some interesting information. It has not been proven by any kind of scientific testing. I seriously doubt he even sees a need to submit for testing. Anecdotal is plenty good for him but he insists on referring to his findings as researched based. Gundry is so loose with wording and so willing to mislead, I have to doubt what he says. He gives no numbers or percentages or any type of data to support what he says about why these folks can eat legumes and corn and live long healthy lives. Peak of arrogance that he assumes we should believe just because he says!

Saved my life!

I have suffered from multiple autoimmune issues for my whole life. When I was a child, they went undiagnosed and it was just assumed the pain I felt was from various injuries from sports.

I did a primal diet nine years ago and really healed myself. I was amazed at the impact that food has on health! Unfortunately, being a vegetarian the amount of time and effort needed to sustain wasn’t possible with two small children. I never forgot the healing power of food though!

Now I have three children, was fifty pounds overweight and feeling sicker than ever. I knew something had to change and I found Dr. G! Six weeks in and I am already down 18 lbs and feel amazing. My joints are no longer swollen and I have so much energy! Dr. G makes starting and following the plant paradox as a vegetarian (or anyone!) so accessible and quick! I can do it with no stress and I could not be more grateful!

Listening to the podcast while food prepping and cooking is now my favorite way to spend my “me time”! Keep up the great work!
