    If you're feeling frustrated and a little helpless from constantly trying to control your eating habits, but struggling with yo-yo dieting, repeated binges, and feeling like you're never able to make lasting progress, then you are not alone!
    In this episode, I apply the process of change I shared in the previous episode to the important concept of your relationship with food and achieving sustainable weight loss. The way you think about food and make food choices can shape the experience you have while working towards weight loss.
    To break the cycle of dieting and repeating the same things over and over again, it is important to change your relationship with weight loss by changing the way you think about food.

    The biggest myth of diet culture is that there is a right and wrong way to approach weight loss, and that you can achieve quick and easy results by blindly following someone else's rules.
    Weight Loss Your Way is about taking full responsibility for yourself and your process and understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. There are hundreds weight loss tools available to you, but they are not enough to achieve sustainable results; they must be combined with inner work of changing how you think.     In this episode, I share my personal journey towards finding balance in my life and how I’m applying the Weight Loss Your Way process to myself. I discuss how I fell into the trap of tunnel vision when it came to my work, and as a result, lost sight of taking care of myself and many of the supporting habits I had created.
    I openly share the steps I’m taking to get back on track, starting with figuring out what I want most in my life, beyond weight loss. I also talk about the importance of taking tiny actions to support my goal of balance, and why I'm not focused on weighing myself.
