Comedian, actress, author, and professional truth-teller Ms. Pat joins Kiki for a conversation that goes exactly where you’d expect it to… and then completely off the rails.Ms. Pat is celebrating her new book, Miss American Dream, and opens up about how her idea of “making it” has changed over the years. From once believing success looked like a house with a white picket fence to realizing that family, happiness, and breaking generational cycles are the real dream, she reflects on everything it took to build the life she has now.The two get into believing in yourself when nobody else does, separating friendship from business, learning to set boundaries as your success grows, knowing when it’s time to let people go, and why everyone around you can’t automatically come along for the ride.Of course, it wouldn’t be CockTales without things getting a little chaotic. Kiki finds out very quickly that she would’ve made a TERRIBLE drug dealer, Ms. Pat explains why Kiki has absolutely no street in her, and a Sip & Spill about a one-sided friendship turns into some brutally honest advice about jealousy, fake friends, and trusting what you already know.Plus, Ms. Pat talks about her marriage, raising a house full of kids, turning painful life experiences into comedy, her upcoming projects, and why after everything she’s survived and accomplished, happiness is still the ultimate American dream.Grab a drink because Ms. Pat came to tell the truth, hurt a few imaginary feelings, and leave absolutely no room for excuses.
