Δον Κιχώτης (Β' μέρος)

Δον Κιχώτης Μιγκέλ ντε Θερβάντες | Δύο επεισόδια | Οι περιπέτειες του Δον Κιχώτη και του πιστού του συντρόφου, Σάντσο Πάντσα, συνεχίζονται. Ο περιπλανώμενος ιππότης έρχεται αντιμέτωπος με ανεμόμυλους που τους περνά για γίγαντες, συναντά κατάδικους και μπλέκει σε νέες περιπέτειες, όπου η φαντασία και η πραγματικότητα μπερδεύονται διαρκώς. Όταν ο Σάντσο αναλαμβάνει να κυβερνήσει ένα νησί, ανακαλύπτει πως η εξουσία δεν είναι τόσο εύκολη όσο ίσως φανταζόταν. Και καθώς οι περιπλανήσεις τους πλησιάζουν στο τέλος, μια αναμέτρηση με έναν μυστηριώδη ιππότη θα οδηγήσει τον Δον Κιχώτη σε μια καθοριστική στιγμή της ζωής του. Ο Μιγκέλ ντε Θερβάντες δημιούργησε δύο ήρωες που, παρά τις διαφορές τους, πορεύονται μαζί. Ο Δον Κιχώτης βλέπει τον κόσμο μέσα από τα όνειρα και τα ιδανικά του, ενώ ο Σάντσο Πάντσα τον αντιμετωπίζει με πρακτικό πνεύμα και λαϊκή σοφία. Η συντροφιά τους μάς θυμίζει πως η ζωή μπορεί να χρειάζεται και τα όνειρα και τη γνώση της πραγματικότητας. Το έργο του Θερβάντες εκτείνεται σε πάρα πολλές σελίδες. Για το podcast, η ιστορία διασκευάστηκε και προσαρμόστηκε σε δύο επεισόδια, με την επιλογή χαρακτηριστικών περιπετειών και σημαντικών στιγμών από τις περιπλανήσεις των δύο ηρώων. Authority and Obedience | Principle #3

In today's episode I'm introducing the third principle of Charlotte Mason's Twenty Principles. The Twenty Principles are the basis for her educational philosophy. Without these, we can't apply the method. The second principle is "The principles of authority on the one hand, and of obedience on the other, are natural, necessary and fundamental.”. Today we discuss what this principle means, and how we can apply it in our own homes. (I am assuming that everyone entrusted with the bringing up of children recognises the supreme Authority to Whom we are subject. Without this recognition I do not see how it is possible to establish the nice relation which should exist between teacher and taught).
