    Fasting for Peace and Healing

    Fasting is a path toward metabolic health and healing but its roots go deeper. It reaches down into the core of our humanity. Health should be a unifying force. Health is not political. Our shared humanity is not political. War is the antithesis of health and the lowest point of human existence. Already many on all sides of this conflict have been killed. Families shattered, lives destroyed, children killed and terrified. Fasting is my response to this. Fasting for peace. Fasting in solidarity with those who are suffering. Fasting for the hope that all people of the world would lean into love at this moment in ordered to bring an end to the cycles of violence destroying our societies.
