Sharing the Hard Stuff: Finding Space to Be Real

In this episode I’m talking about something that’s deeply personal yet universally human: the courage to share your truth. Sometimes the weight we carry, like shame, fear, embarrassment, or unspoken experiences, can hold us back from living fully. Sharing your truth doesn’t have to be dramatic or performative, it is about creating space to release, reflect, and heal. We’re talking about: Why holding onto your truth can feel like survival but may also block your growthThe importance of having a supportive inner circle and trustworthy alliesWays to safely share your truth including journaling, therapy, creative expression, or just showing up authenticallyHow black women, historically and culturally, have had to mask their truths and why reclaiming space to be fully human is an act of self-careNavigating the highs and lows, the valleys and peaks, of life while honoring your own journeyThis episode is an invitation to let go of the pressure to be perfect, to stop bottling things up for survival, and to explore ways to express yourself safely and honestly. Small Beginnings, Big Intentions: Claiming Space (a Tiny Shed) as Self-Care

In this first episode of the year, I’m sharing something that may not matter to anyone else on the planet and how it reminded me that self-care isn’t always loud, aesthetic, or dramatic. Sometimes self-care looks like claiming space. Sometimes it looks like taking one small step toward a vision you don’t need to explain to anyone else. We’re talking about: Why small beginnings matter (especially in January)Creating physical, emotional, and energetic space as a form of self-careLetting intentions unfold without rushing or pressureHow honoring what feels meaningful to you is an act of self-loveThis episode is an invitation to start the year gently, intentionally, and on your own terms.
