Amazing

This podcast is so good. The topic didn’t appeal to me but I gave it a try and I’m so glad I did. The work reporters do is so impressive, important, dangerous, etc. I am developing such a respect for the media and how important it is in our society. Not to mention it had me on the edge of my seat. Wonderful job!

A Precious Gem in Journalism

Listening to The Caliphate has given me a new sense of respect for NYT’s and it’s wonderful reporter, Rukmini Callimachi, who is very clearly passionate about her work. The production is flawless, the music and care to structure is evident, and the style and story is gripping and effective. Highly recommended. The only downside is that it isn’t long enough to quench my thirst for this story. Wow! Brilliant execution and equally well-deserved ratings. I hope that this quality in journalism continues.

PLEASE GIVE US MORE

I have yet to find a podcast that even comes close to Caliphate. This is one of the BEST works of journalism available. It offers an exclusive glimpse into life inside ISIS, into the life of a reporter rushing into the frontlines of war. It’s a binge worthy podcast.

I’m craving more from Rukmini!
