Did I Just Learn to Love Cooking?

I can’t remember exactly how I discovered Liz Moody, but she came into my life at a very convenient time. I had just passed my personal trainer certification and was in the middle of planning my wedding. Nutrition had always been something I scoffed at. “I exercise so much so I don’t have to worry about what I eat” was practically my motto. After ordering “Healthier Together” in an attempt to educate myself on a world that didn’t revolve around takeout, I slowly came to understand how healthy eating fits into your life without surviving on salads every day. Liz’s cookbook is approachable AF and her podcast is no different. She takes the confusion and trends out of the equation, and really focuses on presenting realistic, simple healthy eating ideas that can fit into anyone’s life. I’m a huge fan of the Body Love philosophy (see: nutrition education revelation above) so the episode with Kelly Leveque was the first I listened to and she asked all the questions I’d want to ask myself—and then some! I have followed Rachael DeVaux for a while now and found out about Liz through her podcast episode with Rachael. I have loved hearing all of the Healthier Together tips, smart and thoughtful conversations, as well as the enthusiasm Liz shares with her guests on the shows!
