Good stuff +

Interesting look into the machine. I do have a request, I know this isn’t a Wendy’s, but... can y’all do a sketch where you replace Jeffrey Ross the producer with Jeff Ross the roast master.

Really interesting, but mix it up

Hi guys! The idea is awesome, taking you inside a late night talk show like Conan’s is unique and intriguing. I only wanted to comment that I hope that there will be more interesting angles of “behind the scenes”. The two hosts are both writers, and it make sense that most of the time we hear about former writers and sketch actors. It gets a bit long when the hosts and guests are just “catching up”. I hope to see this tightened up a bit 😊. How’s the food on set? Does the guest stay around after the show for dinner or drinks? Have there been any diva guests? What about music guests?

Wish this was what it claims to be

I mostly like this pod, but there is soooo much insider lingo it is hard to relate to. I LOVE Conan and his show and his podcast, but the behind the scenes stuff only makes sense if you explain what a set-up man is or what “submitting” means etc. Most of us have never worked on a comedy show. But I’ll keep listening believing it will get better. Peace!

Just listened to the Matt Walsh episode, and it takes till 49:57 before we are told what show Matt is in. I enjoyed this episode, but was SOOOO confused as to who Matt was and what he does till then. The relationship/connection between Conan and his I presume theatre group was never explained.

“The Upfronts”?!?!

Wait... what did John McCain say?!?! (Ep. 29. Mike talked right over it.
